Everything felt alive again. The sun started to slowly shower Salisbury with unconditional warmth. Birds woke up, fed their new born babies and sung a beautiful song. The house of the Wilson's smelled like freshly cooked bacon and yummy eggs with the runny yolk! Suddenly, Johnny's peaceful dream was interrupted by his mother. She loudly walked in,
"John, time to wake up, you have school in 30 minutes, come on get up!" Johnny groaned, not again, the dreaded 7:00 that he had to experience. Johnny groaned closing his eyes while knowing damn well he has to get up. Mrs Wilson swung open the curtain and Johnny quickly sat up on the bed,
"Mum I was gonna get up!"
"Well you might just do it now then! Come on!" And Mrs Wilson walked out the room. Johnny rubbed his eyes and while yawning went to the bathroom. He peed, washed his face and brushed his teeth, got dressed and brushed his hair. Johnny went down stairs to his parents having breakfast and he sat with them. Johnny ate 2 eggs and some bacon and downed it all up with orange juice. Then he thanked his mother for the meal and left the house. He sat on his bike and cycled to school. Everything was very like normal.
Johnny walked in class. Miles was already there, he waved at Johnny as Johnny made his way through his classmates. Some of his pears were sitting on the desks, loud chatter spred across the room and a few girls were doing their makeup. Everything was just like usual. Suddenly, Mrs Harrington walked into the class looking all frantic. She was a well dressed, chestnut hair, brown eyed with glasses woman somewhere in her late 30s. As she walked in the students scattered around to their assigned seats and everything went quiet.
"So, Good morning kids, let me just do the register and you will all be free to
Go to your first classes!" She said, then did the register and then, finally, the students all left to their first lessons. Johnnies first lesson was Geography with Miles. He went there completely zoned out when,"I'm glad you actually thought logically and came to school, we should only come after school to help the Ghosts!"
Suddenly, Johnny remembered about the haunted house. Weirdly he forgot about it.
"Yeah obviously Miles!" Said Johnny while still wondering how he forgot about the house and kids. He sat through the first lesson, then went to the second one already without Miles but with his other pal Victor. Then they had a break and that's when Johnny and Miles just hung around talking about how bored they were. Then there came the 3rd and 4th lesson which on that day Johnny had without Miles. It was French and Chemistry. Johnny survived those aswell. Lunch came around And Johnny ate it while chattering to Miles and then they proceeded to just do dumb stuff for the rest 30 min. When lunch ended Johnny was heading to his 5th lesson which he also had without Miles or other people he talked to. He was heading there and then he stoped right on his tracks. He thought, nice and hard. He thought of the goods and bad's of that decision then he turned around and kind of jogged to the entrance and exit of the school. He exited it and ran to wherever he left his bike at. He sat on his bike and cycled to Jenni and the other Ghosts. Miles and his parents were gonna kill him but who cares.
He climbed over the black gate, walked through the dead garden which no longer seemed scary, he pulled on the huge wooden door. It opened with ease and a disgusting sound. He walked into the no longer dirty and creepy mansion. It smelt nice and looked clean and cosy. Unexpectedly, Jenni appeared right in front of Johnny with a huge grin but she was upside down. Johnny looked up and saw Jenni levitate upside down. He looked back into her green emerald eyes. Their lips where so- so close, Johnny couldn't help but take a glance at them but only for a second. Then a large smile formed on his face and he burst out laughing. Jenni also chuckled and adjusted herself on the ground, not upside down this time. For a moment they stoped laughing and just looked at each other in silence and Johnny swore he could feel Jenni getting closer like she was about to kiss him but that was only for a moment because other excited ghost kids gathered on the first floor.
