Johnny heard a knock on the door. He opened his eyes. Light shined into Johnny's room as birds chirped outside. His mother didn't come in to wake him up as usual. She just knocked. Johnny stared at the door, waiting for it to open and mum to come in but she didn't. She simply knocked. Johnny got up and got ready for school. This will be a tuff day.
Johnny walked downstairs. Breakfast was ready on the table. Dad was drinking his coffee while mum was sitting and waiting for-
"John." She said when Johnny came downstairs, "sit down, have breakfast while your father will tell you something."
"kay." Mumbled Johnny as he sat down.
"Today you will sit all of the lessons, and after school and on the weekends you will sit in this house and not leave it, you are grounded young man, for let it be a week."
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Complained Johnny.
"Do not rais your voice at your father! You will do as we say!" Yelled Mrs Wilson.
"You don't understand anything!" Yelled Johnny and left the house. He took his bike and as usual cycled to school. He was so angry. Now he has to face Miles at school, what is he going to say or do? There was so much stress that Johnny didn't want to deal with. Suddenly, he turned right, the opposite way of the school because he wasn't going to school. He was coming to Jenni.
Johnny climbed over the big, black gate, walked through the no longer scary garden and stoped at the entrance. He was making a mistake, he should've just gone to school. Johnny turned around, he didn't even open the door to the mansion. As soon as he turned around he saw Jenni standing right in front of him and he got a scare.
"Woah!" He gasped and Jenni chuckled.
"You never get used to this, don't you?" She smiled at him but Johnny didn't smile back. He sat down, leaning against the closed, wooden door. She did the same.
"What's the matter?" She asked and like on command, tears started to drip down Johnny's cheeks. His eyes turned red and puffy and he let out a sigh and burst into tears.
"Hey, hey, it's okay, it's gonna be okay, I got you, I'm always here for you." She said while cradling him in her arms. And they sat there, Johnny was quietly cying in Jenni's arms while she stared into the distance with him in her arms.
Some time passed and Johnny calmed down.
"You wanna talk about it?" She asked. Johnny got up from Jenni's arms and wiped his tears.
"No, not really."
"It's okay, I'm glad you came here."
"I want to spend today with you, come on, let's go out to the city! I'll show you everything!" Johnny got up and took Jenni by the hand.
"With me?"
" yes yes! Come on!" And they ran up to the gate. Jenni flew over the gate and Johnny climbed over it.
"Sit behind me and hold tight! We will be in the city in about 20 minutes."
"Thanks I sure will!" Jenni sat on the bike behind Johnny and held tight. Just like he said. They cycled off into the city.
"I just thought, will other people be able to see you?"
"No, no only people who stepped foot into the mansions can see us, others can't."
"Oh haha, then it will look like I'm just talking to myself." The two giggled. As they cycled, Johnny showed Jenni around, pointing to different buildings and telling interesting stories that once happened to him in certain spots of the city.
