Office Nap

Few days passed by, so far everything is fine. There were different pranks played on each other but now instead of complaining about it they had fun. One of them being slime drawer with stapler and stationary inside. Jimin got calls for the order of sub the whole day, let's just say the Kim's managed to convince a lot of people to call his number as Subway.

Along with the time that flew by, the day for evaluation report was getting near. Ari was stressed about it, she knew her progress is good, she can't help but feel anxious about it. It was hard enough to reach till this post in the first place and losing it is not something she can afford. So, she kept on working every free time she got, even while having lunch.

She made sure Tae won't get a hint about it, the boy will get worried for nothing. And that's how she got here on the bathroom floor with laptop on her lap, searching and reading the resources. After the tiring night activities, she took her leave to the way of bathroom making sure her boyfriend is in deep slumber. She came back and slept at 4 so there will be no doubt.

Next morning Ari was so sleepy, she didn't get any rest. Tae told the girl that she looks tired and asked if she needs a day off. A leave is the last thing she needs right now but the thing she is craving, she needs it but controlled her urges.

Her head got banged on the desk with a small thud, she raised her head eyes droopy, realizing she dozed off. She decided to take a coffee break and went to the café on the ground floor.
While waiting for her order by the counter, she got called by someone, someone tall, boxy smile only for her.

"Mr. Kim, what a coincidence?" she never expected him to be here.
"Ms. Lee, why do you look so surprised?"
"It's not common for the CEO of a mutli billion-dollar company to get their own coffee."

She never worked with him before and had no idea how her boyfriend was as a boss. From what she observed, he was mostly professional with all but still managed to have a light talk when necessary, people respected him for his nature.

"It's like a small break. I get to see the surroundings, watch the employees and fresh up my mind."
"Hmm sounds fair."

"Ma'am here's your black coffee." the lady at the counter announced her order.

"Aerum, are you by any chance drinking caffeine?" Tae asked with his eyebrows raised questioning her with a sharp look. The atmosphere got dark according to her, she knew she can't lie anymore and decided to remain quiet.

"Please cancel my order and hers, she can't drink coffee."
Than he turned towards her, "Let's talk in my office, shall we?"

He was standing before the desk, body leaning to it, arms crossed on his chest, waiting for her to speak.

"I had not much to sleep yesterday because I had a long night with my boyfriend." She hoped that flirting will help with the situation but to her avail it was of no use.

"So did I, that's not an excuse."
"Oh please, you've to sign few papers but I had to type the whole morning."
He looked at her with disbelief.

"Is that what you think I was doing, I was in a meeting myself."
"See, you just had to sit."

He sighed. He knows what she's trying to do, avoiding the whole thing by changing the topic. He was not going to let her get to him.

"Ari, you now I'm doing this because I care for you. You know the consequences when you overdue the caffeine intake."
"I know and I'm sorry but I literally fell asleep in between reviewing an important document."

"Let's do this, whatever document you have to submit before evening, just give them to me and I'd do it for you. Till then take a nap on the sofa or if you prefer going home?"

She knew he had enough work himself. She can't just hand over things like a damsel in distress. She knew he won't have a problem with it and that he genuinely wanted to help.

She was hesitating. He can see that as she was biting her lips lost in her own thoughts. He captured her into his arms, stroking her hair. She leaned into his touch hugging him back.

"Hey...don't think too much. I won't let anyone come plus you need to rest, you can continue with your work later" he said softly.
"Are you sure?"
"Absolutely, after all I'm the cause of this."

She was not sure if he was teasing, he sounded so sincere. What if he knows? He obviously doesn't.

"Hold on a second I'll just get you a pillow and blanket."

He literally tucked her in making sure only her face can be seen.
"Stop it, I'm not a baby."
"Are you sure? You just look like one right now." His boxy smile wide as he looked at her lovingly.

Before she can move her hands towards him, he grabbed them and placed a kiss on her lips it was just a long peck. He pulled off smiled at her and then sat back on his chair to start working, occasionally glancing towards the sleeping figure.

It was at night when Tae came back home late from a dinner party. He directly went to their bedroom. Ari was already asleep curled into the duvet like an infant. From the way she was clutching the blanket in her hands, eyelids shut tight, he knew she was only pretending. Curious as to why the girl is pretending he did the same and laid next to her on bed.

Around half an hour later, Ari woke up and slowly making no noise, tip-toeing she got her laptop and proceeded to bathroom. In a minute or so the door opened with a bang and in came Tae smirking.

"Did you just break our rule, Darling?" a sinful smile on his face, like the one he had on the day they made the rules.

From the day they made the rules, she promised herself to never be the first one to break them for she knew what'll happen.

Last year, both of them went for trekking. Tae was not waking up on the second day of the trek, she took the help of the smell of her previous day socks to wake him up.

Thus, the boy was taking his revenge right now as Ari is sitting on his lap with his legs sprawled out, her back resting on his front. A pretty awkward position, but what made it weirder was when Tae brought his toe near her.

Yes, he wanted her to lick his toe as her punishment, crazy idea. But it was normal for them, he believes she deserves that. Just as Ari stuck out her tongue ready to feel disgusted, guts twisted, something covered her eyes. Tae blindfolded her and brought his lips near her ears breathing out he spoke ever so sultry, making her breath hitched.

"Let's give you a better punishment."
