Snowy Day

You know Christmas is around when the city is filled with people, smell of desserts, the freshly baked goods, the red, green, golden decoration in all shops, lights giving the city its shine and traffic in which Taehyung's stuck in. He finished his last meeting before the holidays and was on his way back home to
his family but the snow had different plans.

"Due to heavy snow, streets of Seoul are at halt, cars and buses are stuck till they clear the snow out. Please drive safely and slowly."
The radio in the car announced which made Taehyung sighed for the nth time today. He just wanted to reach home and cuddle his girlfriend. He looked out of the window at the snow falling, so beautiful.

He spotted a figure walking with umbrella on the sidewalk, he recognises her immediately,
"Miss Na-bi?" He called out rolling down the window. The said person turned back to look for who called her name and he was right.

Taehyung asked if she requires a ride and she denied it saying she can take the bus so he offered to drop her to the bus stand.
The car ride was mostly silent except for few general questions about Christmas, when taehyung asked her, "Are you going somewhere for Christmas?" She replied a plain 'no' and he didn't pry much into the personal matters.

His phone rang with the name of 'Ari' on display, a smile made to his face.
"Tae, when are you coming back?" Even on the call he can make out that the girl must be having a pout and whiny tone.
"Ho-, I'm stuck in traffic, it'll probably take two hours." He was careful enough to not speak with his usual nicknames.
"Come fast, we'll start decorating the tree without you."

"You wouldn't do that." Taehyung said trying to hide back a smile.
"Don't test me Mr. Kim." She said with fake stern voice and continued,
"Come soon and travel safe, your Christmas gift is waiting."

"I couldn't wait to open it, see you soon." Taehyung said and cut the call. Unaware of those eyes who were looking at him throughout the whole conversation, how his face lit up, how he bit back the smiles and the sweet tone can't be missed.
"Thankyou Mr. Kim, I'm sorry I couldn't repay you back."
"Ah, there's no need, Merry Christmas."

He reached home only to be lectured by his mom for prioritising work even on festivals, but Ari was sweet enough to save by diverting the topic into opening of presents.
Taehyung's mother knit him and Ari a sweater, while dad gave them matching mugs. Tae and Ari got his dad watch and her mom, a pair of earrings.

It was their turn to give each other surprise, they try to keep it simple gifting only things necessary even though Taehyung protested against this rule but he couldn't say no to her anyways. He got her a platinum pendant as that's the only piece of accessory she wears on her skin beside watch in her day to day life, whereas she got him a new cologne.

"Don't you think I deserve to unwrap something else too?" Taehyung asked Ari leaning towards her, his lips touching the back of the ear.
"Tae, we're in the living room." Ari muttered looking forward not to show any reaction to his words.
"Of course, darling. I meant the chocolates you talked to me about. What do you have in mind?"
She knows he's teasing her, still she made her way to the kitchen to get him the chocolates, and he followed her.

He unwrap one of them and tasted them, it melted instantly, so delicious.
"How's it?" Ari asked.
"You want to taste it?" Before she can answer he placed his lips on her, tongue poking, he entered his tongue in her warm mouth to devour it whole. Ari can clearly taste the chocolate along with his tongue made her let out a moan.

Taehyung broke the kiss grinning from ear to ear from her reaction. She just hit his chest playfully and gave him a look for kissing her so randomly when his parents are just next room.
"I'm sure they'll understand." Ari just rolled her eyes but still smiled.

After dinner and decorating the tree which was done with a lot of bickering per say, they all had different opinions about the decor. At night Ari was laying on the bed waiting for Taehyung to cuddle. He walked out of the bathroom after few minutes, freshly showered and only in sweatpants. She got out of the bathroom to find Tae going through his phone.
"Tae." He immediately looked at her.
"I'm out of pads, I'll have to run by the department store."
Her boyfriend said he'll come with her and before she can protest that it's alright, he must be tired, a wave of pain hit her lower abdomen, she knew it's going to be a long night.
