I WAS IN THE MAGICAL CHARIOT, listening to Annabeth ramble about the dream I got yesterday. Percy might be at the grand canyon. It didn't make any sense, but hey, Percy was often in places he shouldn't be. But, I still couldn't get the feeling that we wouldn't find Percy there. Since my gut instinct was usually right. I tried telling this to Annabeth.
"Chase, look, please listen to me once."
She just nodded, most people didn't interrupt me when I was saying something. My boyfriend, Jason, said I gave, in his words, the 'I ain't taking any shit' vibes. He was missing too. It was like my entire life had turned upside down.
I continued "We might not find Percy at the grand canyon, I mean, why would we? What will Percy be doing at the grand canyon? We have already scorched the area. The pegasus didn't get a clue about him. Nor did Grover get any location using the empathy link. I am just saying, please don't hope; they get crushed. "
Annabeth looked at me, determined "No, we will find him there, your dream said so"
"My dream didn't exactly say 'You will find Percy here' it said 'You will find what is necessary. Also, the dream was definitely by a god, and such dreams often have a double meaning." I explained.
"No, I refuse to believe it, we will find Percy, we have to" She then broke down crying, something she has been doing a lot. I decided to give her some space.
But, since our destination was still far away. I decided to use the time to get my thoughts straight. As I mentioned before, life was a living hell for me, which was nothing new, to be honest, but I don't have the one person that helped me through tough times. My boyfriend. Jason had disappeared around the same time Percy had, which made me think all this was connected. But, it all happened so fast. Last month, the prophecy of the big three had taken place and as usual, I was the half-blood in the prophecy. So, all that drama had occurred. Then a few days earlier, Reyna IM-ed me in the morning and told me that Jason is missing. But, it turns out, he wasn't the only one, Percy had also disappeared the very same day.
It was already so hard, juggling between CHB and CJ. The only demigod who could understand my struggle is Nico di Angelo. But, now it's even harder. I don't dare to walk into Camp Jupiter, which was ironic, since my fatal flaw itself was excessive bravery. But, now, with no comfort of meeting Jason in Camp Jupiter, I just cannot bring myself to fly to Oakland hills. But, I know that my one of my BFFs, Reyna is there, so I am planning to go to CJ tomorrow.
Well anyways, enough with the depressing thoughts. I went to the front of the carriage.
"Hey Butch, how long till we reach our destination?"
"'Bout 90 mins, cap."
Yeah, Cap, another nickname given to me by Camp Half-Blood. Their logic was, that since I was blond, righteous, and a leader, I represent Captain America from the MCU. It was annoying at first, but I am used to it now. Just, wait till they meet Jason. If ever.
I push that thought aside. I then tell Butch
"I am taking storm for a quick search of the area to check any monster attacks, will be back in 45."
He just nodded, doing a mock salute and I untie my beautiful Pegasus.
Truthfully, I just wanted to clear my head.
I jump on Storm's (My pegasus) back.
Hey Cap, after we scorch the area, please buy me some donuts from a shop nearby. Blackjack told me they taste amazing.
I groaned "I shouldn't let you hang with blackjack, he is spoiling you"
Oh, come on, cap. By the way, I have some exciting news, me and Scipio are dating.
"Yeah that's great- wait what, you and Scipio, as in Reyna's pegasus?" I was shocked, to say the least. But storm is a female, so, this was expected.
No shit, sherlock. But honestly, he is so hot. He is also so muscular and great in the stables. I am in love.
I covered my ears at the end, not that it helped, storm spoke in my mind. "Ewwww, I did not need to know that, my innocent ears."
Quit the drama, cap. We both know how innocent you are. And I have to listen to your endless rambles about your boyfriend, but you can't hear my rambles. And, speaking of your boyfriend, what were you doing last week, in his room, with you wearing his shirt?
I facepalmed to hide my now totally red face "Nothin- It was nothing, how do you even know?"

Oh, dear cap has grown up, tell me, was it good?

A flock of passing bird looked at me weirdly and I just flipped them off.
Woah, cap, what did the birds ever do to you? But, I still cant believe that you and you lover did that...
Yup. That was it. My ride for clearing my head turned out to be a total nightmare with Storm teasing me for a whole 30 minutes after which I eventually decided to go back.
