I pointed at a footprint on the dusty threshold. On instinct, I pushed the doors and they swung open easily.
Annabeth stepped back. "Um, Piper, I don't think we should—"
"We're supposed to do dangerous stuff, right, plus Emma might be awake?" Anna defended ME, and it was clear that Annabeth trusted her judgment more than mine, as she walked in without a second thought.
Hera's cabin was someplace I would want to live. It was pretty warm, with a circle of white columns around a central statue of the goddess, ten feet tall, seated on a throne in flowing golden robes. I had always thought of Greek statues as white with blank eyes, but this one was brightly painted so it looked almost human—except huge. Hera's piercing eyes seemed to follow me. I looked around and saw someone brushing their hair and she took my breath away.

The girl had lush blond hair, slightly wavy, unlike Anna's straight one. She had a warriors body and in the mirror's reflection, as far as I could see, the most beautiful gray-ish blue eyes. The girl wore a simple gray tank to and some jeans, but I had never seen anyone as gorgeous, no, someone as perfect as her. I could feel my crush on Jason fading away as I looked at her.
Anna looked at me with amused eyes and said
"This is Emma Gemstone, the, drumrole please" Annabeth drumrolled on her thighs "daughter of Hera"
Emma looked at us and her eyes immediately went to Anna. She rushed forward and hugged the girl, Anna happily returning it. The two stayed like that for about 15 seconds before they pulled apart.
"GoO, I missed you. Are you okay? I heard about Percy and Jace and came ASAP" Emma said, giving a quick nod to Annabeth. Also, what's 'GoO'?
