A/N: I don't own Smallville or any characters and places in the DC universe. Nor do I own the episodes that these chapters are based and contained from.
I also don't claim to be a writer. My inspiration is simply to get a creative outlet going.
I only own Tyla Nevin and what pertains to her character story.

"Is it true, Lex?"
The billionaire couldn't even sigh as he saw the young teen march out of the study, looking for him. It wasn't a surprise anymore that Clark would just walk down the call and make some sort of accusation. Lex wasn't in the shape to deal with it. He was a little bit preoccupied. He made a face as he wiped a cloth across his head to rid the sweat off him.
He was training with Tyla, trying to find out just how much force she truly had. She managed to blow him away, literally, and with so much as a soft flick of her wrist, she could halt him in his tracks no matter how hard he tried. It was quite the workout hence why he was making his way to the cart in the study to grab a couple of bottles of water. "You know, after you've been MIA for weeks I don't think a hello is too much to ask for," he said, walking over to meet Clark. He didn't know why Tyla was so insisting on keeping the friendship there.
"How long have you been planning to run for state senate?" Clark asked, ignoring Lex's request for formalities.
Lex made a face and shrugged. "Several months now, and if you're implying I should've told you, you might wanna re-think the barrier you have drawn in this friendship," he quipped, harshly. He unscrewed the cap of one of the bottles. In fact, the only person who knew was his girlfriend but between her transformation and the impact that second meteor shower left, there was little room to plan anything. A soft glare fired over to Clark's direction but the other man showed him a picture, not that it was any normal one but of his opponent in the running.
The man has his arm draped around a woman in a blue dress. His other hand was on her leg. The woman held onto the man's tie, suggestively while she wrapped around him. Both looked extremely comfortable together. Lex's gaze lowered to the picture. He snatched it from Clark's hand and looked at it more closely.
"I can't believe you'd destroy someone just to win a race."
It took everything not to roll his eyes. Instead, Lex raised his eyebrows in disbelief. Tyla warned the same thing to him. She knew the fragility of politics and although she wasn't completely approving of the suggestion, she said she would protect him. However, her standing was that he couldn't do anything so corrupt nor would she be wholly involved in the process. If this picture was real or fake, that was a different debate than what Clark was accusing him off.
"There's a reason they call it a race, not a political potluck." He replied. scoffing as he started to walk away. "But if you think I had something to do with this-"
"Lex, your competition was linked in a murder of a young girl just before you announced your candidacy. It's a bit of a coincidence, isn't it? You honestly don't recognize that picture?"
Lex lifted his head from studying the photography. He looked up to the ceiling in annoyance. He wasn't sure what angered him more; the fact that Clark was suggesting that he murdered the girl and covered it up by framing the competition or the fact that he doctored the image. He turned around and raised his voice slightly. "The only thing I recognize is the booth." He flashed the photo towards Clark. "It's the Windgate Gentleman's Club in Metropolis. Not a smart stop-off for an incumbent on the campaign trail."Lex handed the photo back to Clark.
The boy looked down, deep in thought. "Look, I know this guy, and if you're not trying to set him up, somebody is," he started to say. "Maybe it's somebody at this club."
