A/N: I don't own Smallville or any characters and places in the DC universe. Nor do I own the episodes that these chapters are based and contained from.
I also don't claim to be a writer. My inspiration is simply to get a creative outlet going.
I only own Tyla Nevin and what pertains to her character story.

The summer gave way to sunny skies and the bustle of normalcy. The monotony of LuthorCorp kept both the Miracle Angel and the billionaire busy. Gone were the days that Lex would take lunch with Clark. Gone were the moments where Tyla would find the brown-haired boy waiting in her new office, chatting with her while she delegated through proposals.
In the following month, there was no mention of her splitting headaches. As far as he was concerned, she was taking his aloe solution, but she was also burdened to catch up on work. Much to his dismay, she was losing sleep, appetite, and presence because of it.
He found her expectantly in LuthorCorp in one of the boardrooms. Tyla had scheduled herself a meeting about securing the agricultural grounds for her greenhouses. Her proposal for producing medicinal herbs for the masses was her latest project that she spearheaded with Lex's approval. She looked as if the caves had never affected her. He hovered back, leaning against the wall that stood perpendicular to the glass boardrooms, and kept his smirks to a minimum.
She eyed him as soon as he was outside the meeting room. She gave a small smirk towards his direction before she turned back to the other board members. She inhaled sharply. "I think we can table it here," she said, closing her folder. They finalized the details. Now it was just to draw up the paperwork. One by one, the board members filed out with the blonde to be the last one to leave the room. She gave another small smirk as her boyfriend walked up to her. "Are you micromanaging me?" she asked him, teasingly.
"Is that what it looks like?" It was a genuine question. One that was met with Tyla giving him a look. It might have looked like he was undermining her by supervision. They began to walk side by side back to her office. Since he last left her, she had doubled up on the folders in her arms. "I was wondering about our own meeting."
"Since when did we have a business meet-" The blonde stopped walking for a brief second, leaving Lex to turn back to see her. Her eyes widened. They were supposed to have lunch. "Oh, Lex! I'm so sorry. I was caught up trying to....catch up." She looked at him, apologetically and picked up her steps to meet him. If she rushed a little faster, she could dump her things on her desk and..."I think I still have time, we can..." She tilted her wrist to check her watch. Her brows furrowed. "Have ice cream."
Lex began to chuckle. "Ice cream?" Her fumbling was adorable however, he hated being stood up. "I hope you are aware that you are working more than I am now." Especially since she only had time for a 20 min ice cream break. She had been working night and day whenever she wasn't sleeping in their room. He almost felt neglected.
Tyla opened the door to her office, leaving it open for Lex to walk in. It was an upgrade compared to her last office as his PA. For one, it was a bigger corner office. Although she moved her personal effects over, there was still a lot of space to be filled. In addition, instead of one large window, half the office consisted of floor-to-ceiling windows that spanned around, displaying part of the cityscape of Metropolis and Sullivan Street Park that put a few blocks of distance between another view of the skyscrapers. It used to be his office before he took over and renovated his father's. He had a feeling that Tyla would appreciate the location much better than he did.
"I don't know. I guess with the visions, and then sleeping whenever I could, I just have a more energetic body." She started to say. This time, she had to turn back to see Lex slow his walk.
