A/N: I don't own Smallville or any characters and places in the DC universe. Nor do I own the episodes that these chapters are based on and contained.
I also don't claim to be a writer. My inspiration is simply to get a creative outlet going.
I only own Tyla Nevin and what pertains to her character story.

Tyla scoured through the paintings in the cave. Her mind began to overwork on the signifiers for Clark. He knew of the Kryptonian language. It was almost second nature but the contexts were hard for him to grasp. "Here," she pointed up. An image of a being that seemed to have been standing in front of a podium. "There's a trial here, from one being to another."
"Like you and me?" Clark said, watching her as she approached the cave wall.
"You and a superior. The one who probably told me to ready these powers for," Tyla skimmed her hand over and then looked back at a very distracted Clark.
"My father...my biological one," his reply was distanced.
"Ah." That was all Tyla said before she walked up to him. "Well, that trial, it has to do with some ripple effect of consequences. It's like cause and effect but they're just words. Did you strike some sort of deal?" There was silence. "Okay, either my teaching skills need a little work, or something's got you bothered."
Clark glanced up. His friend was right in front of him, staring up at his quizzical face. He sighed. "I told Lana everything."
Tyla blinked. "Wow...h-um...everything?." She couldn't muster anything else.
"Nothing about the clairvoyance. Just...who I am."
"Okay...wow, after all those years of those skeletons yanking at your closet door, what's the reasoning behind this coming out party?"
"It was only a matter of weeks before she broke it off." That and the fact that he was spending considerable time with Tyla soon-to-be Luthor. It was the reason why they were in this cave, training and talking. With the election coming up, it would be suspicious if the two of them met at the mansion. Even if it were the farm, the public eye was wandering. Eventually, it would bite either Lex's or Jonathan's campaign. Even Lex who wouldn't question Tyla was already suspicious of the former friend.
"Well, I mean you two are meant for each other. You're Kansas's version of Ken and Barbie except they broke up apparently which is now kinda weird saying it out loud." Tyla shook her head.
"Well I think I was pushing Lana to the point that we couldn't come back and I love her too much to just let that happen."
Tyla gave him a small smile and motioned him to follow her out of the cave. The boy was preoccupied, there was no way he was going to retain anything she was going to tell him. "So how did she take the whole thing?" She asked.
"Not sure yet. To be honest, I thought she would have called by now," he said, sheepishly as he stumbled to walk by her.
Tyla made a face in slight disbelief. She wasn't even sure how she took the news that Clark was not from Earth this whole time. She was surprised that Lex was so accepting of her own powers, although temporary. But she would be a fool if she didn't think he had another motive. "Clark, if Lana cares about you as much as I know she does. I seriously doubt anything is going to change."
Clark continued walking in silence with her and a foreboding sense was waving over the blue-haired beauty. "Well, there might be one thing," he started to say. "I haven't gotten my answer yet. I asked her to marry me."
