The next day, Jason was in a pissed off mood and everyone in his company knew it. Aside from his normal brooding look, he was snapping at people quicker and more often than normal. When he arrived to his office that morning, his assistant, Derek, greeted him "I hope you have a good morning," to which Jason snapped, "Don't tell me what to do" and continued his way to his office. Since then, everyone knew he was pissed off more than normal and tried to avoid him at all cost. They made sure to keep the noise level down so not to set him off.

Jason had barely gotten any sleep last night. After he stormed out of his parents house he couldn't get a certain annoying brunette out of his mind. Just like the night before, he kept tossing and turning around on his bed until finally giving up and distracted his mind with work. That was at three in the morning so he had been working non-stop since then. He only stopped at seven to get dressed so he could go to his office building and do some more work.

Throughout the day, Jason had stayed in his office and barked orders to people through the phone when he needed something done. No one objected and no one was dumb enough to go into his office. Besides one person.

"What's up my main bitch?" Liam said, walking in like he owned the place.

Without looking up from his computer, Jason asked grumpily, "What do you want Liam? And who let you in here?"

"Jeez. Derek was right. You are in a pissy mood. What's got your thong in a twist?"

Jason sighed and rubbed his hands on his face. He couldn't tell Liam that he was pissed off because he couldn't understand his feelings for Krystal. He, himself, didn't know why he was so pissed in the first place.

Jason ignored Liam's last remark. "Again," he said. "What do you want?"

Liam had plopped himself down on one of the two leather armchairs in front of Jason's desk. "Well, last I recall, we have a competition to be in today. Which starts in about," he looked at his Rolex on his wrist, "forty five minutes."

Jason looked at the time on his computer and, indeed, they only had about 45 minutes until the competition was to start at six. He had completely lost track of the time due to working so hard. He still needed to go to his condo first and change.

"Do I really have to participate in that stupid competition? I didn't want to be in it in the first place. We're not even a part of their gym or whatever it is that they're a part of."

"Jason come on. You can't be holed up in your office forever. Ever since that thing with Amy went down all you ever do is work. Come on, let loose. When was the last time you played any sports or just had fun in general?"

Instantly, Jason thought back to dancing with Krystal at the masquerade that happened only a few nights ago. He really let loose and had fun for those few minutes that he had Krystal in his arms. Or when they went on their spy adventure. He shook his head to get rid of the memories.

Liam took Jason's silence as him not having an answer. "Exactly. You can't think of the last time you had fun."

That brought Jason out of his thoughts and glared at Liam for ruining such a nice memory.

"Okay! Fine! I'll go. But only to shut you up."

Liam smiled triumphantly because they we're finally going. He couldn't wait to see Liv. Almost twenty four hours without seeing her was pure torture and felt like a lifetime to him. And no he was not exaggerating.

"Good choice. Because if you didn't agree, I would be forced to bring this issue up to higher authorities."

"Liam. I'm the damn CEO. Who the hell has more authority than me?"
