Where is she? He specifically told the stylist people they needed to be done by eight so they could be there by eight thirty. But no! What time is it right now? Eight fifteen! They were fifteen minutes late!

He continued to pace the salon floor. Why does it take so long for girls to get ready? He remembered Amy had to have at least half the day to get ready for an event. Jason was already dressed so he just walked back and forth throughout the salon.

After a few more minutes, he heard the clicking of heels against the floors coming from up the stairs. He paused and listened, confirming that the clicking was indeed coming towards him. He turned towards the stairs to yell at Krystal but froze as soon as he saw her. He tensed and his eye widened. His mouth hung slightly open and he just couldn't take his eyes off her as she walked down the stairs.

All his earlier anger and frustration was forgotten and was replaced with... want? No, that couldn't be right.

Krystal walked down the stairs slowly and gracefully yet confident. She had on a long sleeved, sequined champagne colored dress (Dress at the top) that slightly dragged behind her. It hugged on to her upper body and hips perfectly and slightly fanned out at the knees in a mermaid style. The back was open in the shape of an 'O' and clipped behind her neck. Her long chestnut brown hair was curled and cascaded down her shoulders. Her face was contoured and she had a dark smokey eye. Overall, she looked elegant yet sexy.

Krystal had to admit she looked pretty good tonight. She felt so formal and elegant compared to the her normal self, though she had to admit she looked kind of over the top. Especially because the dress was very dramatic and made of all sequins.

As she was walking down the stairs, she saw Jason and her breath got caught in her throat. He looked stunning. The most handsome man she had ever seen. His hair was fluffed up at the front and he was wearing a black Armani suit that fit him perfectly. He had on a white undershirt and a black tie. He looked mouthwatering. Krystal had to hold onto the railings as she walked down because her knees felt weak at the sight of him. Wait, what am I thinking? No. She couldn't think of him like that. Did she not remember who he was? He was the rude, heartless guy that thought he was too good for everyone. He was the one who adult-napped her. She quickly composed herself and continued down.

When she reached down the stairs Jason was still there frozen so she looked at him in confusion. She tilted her head to the side with a slight pout on her lips. She called his name a few times and snapped her fingers in front of his face. That seemed to snap him out of whatever it was he was thinking.

"Are you alright? You just kinda stood there."

He awkwardly cleared his throat and turned his head to the side, avoiding her curious eyes.

"We should get going, we're already late." He turned and walked off to the awaiting car outside without even waiting for her.

She was left staring at his back. She was still confused about what just happened. Did something happen while she was getting ready? She just decided whatever it was, it was none of her business so she dropped it and followed him out of the salon after saying a quick goodbye to the workers that helped her.

Their car pulled up to the hotel that the charity event was being held in. It was one of the top, fanciest hotels in Manhattan. Of course it would be held here, Krystal thought. Nothing less for a gathering of socialites.

They got out of the car and proceeded to the entrance of the hotel after Jason said a quick goodbye to Marshall and told him that he'll call once they were ready to leave.
