Breaking Steele Walls

Chapter 8

"Hurry up and eat. We still have to get ready!" Liv told Krystal.

It was already 10 o'clock the next morning. Krystal and Liv were going to go have their 'KL Day' later. They were currently sitting at the island in their kitchen eating some blueberry pancakes that Dylan made since it was his turn to cook. To make it fair for everyone they always rotated chores. 

Krystal quickly shoved the rest of her pancakes in her mouth and hopped off the stool with her plate in hand. She quickly handed her plate to Aaron who was already starting on the dishes. Grabbing a clean dish towel, Krystal dried the wet dishes Aaron handed her after he was done washing them. She would dry it and put it back up in the cabinet.

Everyone had already started on their chores so it only took them about 20 minutes before their apartment was clean.

After that, Krystal skipped to her room where she stripped out of her clothes and wrapped a towel around her body. She got out of her room and walked the short distance to the bathroom, which was right next to her room. She closed the door and turned on the shower. Waiting for the water to get hot, Krystal was looking in the mirror and was making random faces to herself.

'Happy face, sad face, surprised face, angry face,' she chanted in her head while doing those faces. 

When the water was hot, she stripped out of her towel and hopped into the shower, but not before grabbing her toothpaste and toothbrush. Krystal stood in the shower for about five minutes. She just stood and enjoyed the hot water falling onto her skin. Then, she got a handful of her favorite coconut scented shampoo and massaged it into her head. After rinsing, she used her matching coconut conditioner. She rinsed when she was done and got some coconut and vanilla scented body wash and washed her body with it. 

When she smelled like a coconut from head to toe, she took put toothpaste on her toothbrush and brushed her teeth, all the while still in the shower. She felt like it was more convention to just brush her teeth in the shower rather than before or after.

She shut off the shower and got out. Wrapping her towel back around herself, walked out into the hallway and back to her room. She didn't care if any of the boys saw her in her towel. They've already seen her in a bathing suit which was honestly more revealing than a towel.

In her room, Krystal got dressed in her outfit for the day. She put on a white lace bra with matching panties. Looking in her closet, she pulled out some dark washed skinny jeans that ended just above her ankles and a light pink and white floral crop top. She didn't have abs where you could see each individual pack, but you could see the outline of the abs on the sides. She matched it up with a plain, white unzipped hoodie and some white vans.

When she was done with her outfit, she sat at her make-up desk and blow dried her hair until it was dry. Using her curling wand, she slightly curled her hair into waves and tied it half up half down. She tied the half with a big mint green bow. She put on a light layer of foundation and some black eyeliner and mascara.

Grabbing her credit card and cell phone, she put the card in her front pocket of her jeans and walked to the living room. She hated carrying a purse because she felt like they were just always in the way and she continuously had to make sure she didn't forget it somewhere. So instead, she preferred to just carry her money or card in her pockets.

When she got to the living room, Liv was already there waiting for her. She was sitting on the couch watching the boys play Call Of Duty. She had on some dark washed skinny jeans and a light purple, elbow lengthed peplum top and a pair of white flats. Her brown hair was straight and fell down to the middle of her back. Krystal wished she could be as pretty as her.
