Chapter 37-Remember

Harry’s point of view

-flashback-

I run my hands through her silky, wavy, blonde hair as my green eyes bore into her hazel ones. Her cheeks were flushed, the thin, smooth lips parted slightly, heaves of breath escaping its opening. She was beautiful.

“I keep going back on my word,” she says in between breaths as I kept my forehead resting on hers, her hands on my back, the only thing separating the intensity of this moment were our clothes.

“Exactly,” I agree and pull up a smirk. “Which is why you should stop ‘this is the last time’ whenever we finish. Just admit you want to be with me, in any way possible.”

She bites her lips in desire at thought but closes her eyes and sighs a little.

“You’re younger, you’re popular,” she says, opening her eyes.

“Isn’t that what girls want?” I taunt.

“You’re three years younger, Harry. Besides, you know I hate all this fame crap-too much trouble. And I’m all for more than just sex. I’m still a romantic, I want to be spoiled,” she replies but still holding that mischievous glint in her eyes.

“I can live up to that. Besides, we’ve kept this going for five months now. Just make it official. Say you want me, you’ll have me,” I reply, desperate to have her in my hold.

“But Harry...,” she trails off and I press myself on her tightly, closing every distance in our body, my lips landing softly on hers, not a kiss, just there, resting on hers, breathing into her.

“What?”

“Yes,” she finally gives in and quickly moves her hands up to the back of my head, tangling her hands in my curls, pressing our lips together with every force in her as my fingers start their way up inside her shirt, removing the last layers we had in between us.

-a few months after previous scene-

“Hey Harry,” I hear as I answer my phone.

“Louis! Alright?” I say, scratching the side of my jaw absently as the cab I was riding made a left turn.

“Yeah, man, just really bored waiting for my ride,” he answers. “My mum got stuck in traffic.”

“Ahh...grab something to eat?” I suggest.

“Maybe later, really looking forward to a home cooked meal I wouldn’t want to spoil my appetite. Anyway, you going off to see your mum?” he asks me, changing the subject, making the end of my lip lift up a bit. Louis thought I was going straight home but I wasn’t. I was off to see her. I didn’t tell the boys or the management about her, I didn’t tell anyone. If she wanted it to be a secret to stay with me then that’s what I did.

“Yeah I am,” I lie. I was excited. She had been avoiding my calls recently but I figured she must be busy with work or something. After months of being apart, we could finally be together again.

“Oh hey, my ride’s here, talk to you soon. Enjoy your break Haz,” Louis says and I say my goodbye and hang up just in time as the cab pulls up a few blocks away from her flat. Had to be safe right?

I hand over my payment and step out of the cab, grabbing my duffel bag and walk over to her flat.

I had been meaning to tell her that I was coming over today but she wouldn’t answer my calls and I didn’t want to say it over a text so I decided to surprise her.
