Chapter 1-Fainting
Erin’s point of view
“Samuels! You around?” I hear Emma call from downstairs.
“Emma! OMYGOD EMMA!” I yell back, jumping out of my bed and going over to the socket by the side of my bed to plug the battery of my mac out. I eject my 1 terra bite hard drive out and grab my mac then bolt out of my room.
“EMMA, EMMA, EMMA!” I shout as I go down the stairs and see Emma waiting by the foot of it, looking at me.
“Whoa, down girl, what’s with you now?” she asks as I grab her hand and tug her to the kitchen and set my mac down on the counter.
“Look at this!” I say and sit on the chair in front of the counter, Emma settling down beside me. She’s pretty used to my hyper-active attitude so it’s nothing strange to her.
“What is it, Samuels?” she asks. ‘Samuels’ is actually my last name. Erin is my first name but everyone in school calls me Samuels. Either that or this other mean nickname linked to my first which I would rather not bring up in my mind. Which is a shame because I actually love my name ‘Erin’. Bullies just had to ruin everything-my name, my life.
“A picture of Haz!” I say as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Hey guys, sorry I’m late,” we both hear Rien say as she comes waltzing into the kitchen.
Rien has caramel colored skin with dark brown hair that flows straightly down her back with brown eyes. She has that poise of a ballerina and a body of one, tall and thin with prominent collar bones. Emma was the total opposite. She had dirty blond hair with hazel eyes that gleamed gold with the right kind of lighting. She was shorter than Rien but taller than me as I was the shortest. She was of normal weight and was most proud of her long, pretty eyelashes. Me on the other hand? I had dark brown hair with big, dark brown eyes. Short, thin–I guess or liked to think I was-, a fine nose and pointed chin.
“What’s up?” Rien says sitting beside Emma and starts tweeting away on her phone.
“Have you been up all night last night?” Emma asks me. “Again?”
“Um…maybe?” I try.
Emma rolls her eyes at me.
“We talked about this; you need all the rest you could’ve had! We’re camping outside that can get tiring and we do not want to meet the boys looking all ugly even if we are potatoes,” Emma begins her lecture at me.
“Okay, whatever! Just look at the picture!” I say and turn my mac towards her and Rien takes a look too.
“What? It’s Harry sitting on the boat in Australia. That was like…so last month, what gives Samuels?” Emma says.
“The way it’s edited!” I argue. “Look at how she enhanced the colors and I just die whenever I see this picture ughhhhhh.”
“You die with every picture of Harry, even his derp ones,” Rien laughs at me and I ignore her. Don’t get me wrong, the other two are major directioners as well. They just like to poke fun at me. But little do they know how much the boys really saved my life. Especially Harry. I go around saying they saved my life but everyone thinks it’s one of those hyperboles but they literally did. I just don’t tell anyone the story. It was something between me and the boys even if they didn’t know I existed. Besides, that ‘not them knowing I exist’ part is changing today. I was meeting them in a signing later on.
“Dearest lord, Harry Styles, marry me! I’m in love with you, love me!” I moan and groan on the counter top.
“Come on now, Samuels, let’s go so we can be first in queue to meet the boys and then you can finally propose to him face to face,” Rien says and reaches over to pat my back.
