Chapter 20

**Harry’s point of view**

I quietly slip back into the room, hoping she hasn’t woken up yet when I was gone. I shut the door behind me with my foot as I carry the tray of breakfast food in my hands. I walk over to the chair beside the bed and set the tray down there. I take out the bandages and ointment I got from Paul and place them on the tray beside the plate. Glancing over at my watch, my brows furrow. It was already a little past 2 in the afternoon and she had been sound asleep since last night and I didn’t want to wake her. But I had to leave with the boys at about 4 to go to the venue of the interview then head to the venue of the concert. I was wishing to be here when Erin wakes up; I want to see how she would be.

I crawl back to the bed and carefully wrap my arm around her again, the same way she had fallen asleep, in my arms. As if it was an instant reaction, she snuggles to my chest and sighs contentedly. That seemed like a good sign. I was happy that she seemed at peace. I had also asked Niall to take Google out so that he wouldn’t bark and wake Erin up. The rest of the boys wanted time with the dog anyway.

I brush a strand of hair away from her face and just watch her as her chest rises and falls at a steady and calm pace. The corner of my mouth twitches as I get an idea and ever so carefully, I take my iPhone out of my pocket and open up the camera, snapping a picture of her serene sleeping face secretly then quickly stow it away. I don’t know why I did it; I just wanted to remember how she looked this way. She continues to stay asleep and it just stays like that for a few more minutes, probably about half an hour, I wasn't sure and she starts to stir, her eyelashes fluttering.

“Good morning to you love,” I say, smiling at her as her beautiful brown eyes meet mine.

“Hi,” she groggily says and winces a bit as she tries to sit up.

“What is it? Are you hurt somewhere else?” I ask worriedly and she shakes her head a bit.

“Not really, my body is just sore. Which is surprising, I slept like a baby,” she replies then smiles at me. Words couldn’t express how happy I was that she was back to normal again. The fear in her eyes completely gone. She was alright and that had me so relieved.

“You sure did,” I agree, nodding. “You snored too.”

“What?! I do NOT snore!” she protests, hitting my shoulder as I laugh.

“Yes you do! How would you know? You’re asleep when you snore!” I counter.

“I just know, you liar,” she tells me.

“Am not. You snore,” I reply. “Oh right, and I got you breakfast.”

I lean away from her to turn around and get the tray from the chair and set it on the bed.

Erin turns her head to look at the time and gasps. “Ohmygod it’s already 2:47?!”

“You did say you slept like a snoring baby,” I point out and she shoots me a look.

“You got me breakfast? At 2:47 in the afternoon?” she asks with an eyebrow raised.

“I had them cook it for you. Didn’t want to upset your daily routine. Breakfast first,” I reply and she gives me a face.

“What?”

“You’re such a mummy,” she teases in an over exaggerated English accent and it’s my turn to give her a face.

“I was being nice!”

“Gay.”

“Nice!”
