Northwind: *Muttering under his breath*

Lime: Does anyone else feel like something horrible's going to happen?

Northwind: It's got nothing to do with you guys. Let's move on with it. Lime, you've got a question.

Lime: Uh, okay.

Northwind: @rosevoltaris wants to know about your family and why you're in debt.

Lime: Ah.

Yellow: What do you mean by 'ah?'

Lime: I was somewhat expecting this question, but it doesn't make it any more painful. *Sighs* So, my family is kind of complicated. With the war, my grandparents and most of my extended family was killed, leaving me with my mom and my dad.

Blue: Yeesh, is there anyone here who has a nice backstory?

Cyan: *Tentatively raises her hand* Am I the only one?

Green: No, I'm alright other than getting killed.

Lime: I envy you. Anyway, my mom pulled herself together enough to raise me and send me to school and everything, but my dad just... couldn't deal. He turned to alcohol and drained his bank for beer. When he was out, he moved to my mom's bank, and then the account that she put aside for my future.

Black: Maker's breath...

Lime: Yeah... anyway, when the money was getting low, he started to gamble money that he didn't have. He lost a ton of money, put our house up as collateral, and now the bank's after us because he left us to rot.

White: Yikes... is the money from everyone else's bank accounts enough to pay off the debt?

Lime: I hope so, but my dad left ten years ago. The interest rate skyrocketed and now we owe something in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

White: *Does math furiously* It should keep the bank off your mom's back for a little. If you had so much debt, how did you get into MIRA?

Lime: I got a scholarship from MIRA for my project in using nanotechnology to help heal otherwise fatal wounds. By utilizing the technique of rapidly cooling the body after a life-threatening accident and unleashing coded nanobots into the bloodstream, we could have been able to save so many lives.

Black: What do you mean 'could have?'

Lime: I was still working on it. I didn't get to finish before someone decided to kill me.

Red: I SAID SORRY! Geez.

Everyone: *Shocked*

Orange: ...That's it? No 'you didn't hear that?'

Red: ...You didn't hear that-

Cyan: Great.

Red: -from me.

White: Oh, at least we're getting there.

Blue: Very slowly.

White: Some progress is better than no progress at all.

Brown: I am starting to see why Vac'shar hasn't murdered you by now.

White: And that's because...?

Brown: You see the good in most people. Even him.

White: ... Thanks? Doesn't everyone do that?

Cyan: ... Who's going to take his innocence away?

Black: Don't you dare.

Blue: Protective mode engaged!

Northwind: Okay guys, stop. Lime, anything else you want to say?

Lime: Nothing except for thanks a lot you thrice cursed [-----------------------------]!

White: *Wincing and gently taking his hands off of his ears* Are you done?

Lime: *Breathing heavily* No. *Flips the bird*

Yellow: Yeesh, that mad, aren't you?

Lime: Yes.

Northwind: Wow, this is one of the most controlled question and answer that's happened so far...
