Okay, so, I know that I probably created something that is somewhat complicated and that the characters can't answer, so I'm just going to post this so that if you have any other questions about OaC that you want to ask me, the author, you can go ahead and do so.
I'll answer the questions in the comments, but I just wanted to post this because I have nothing else to do. Also, I'm hoping that this will help me think of ways to write out the next chapters of BtI, since apparently writer's block and lack of motivation due to sleep deprivation really hits me after a while.
