Northwind: Alright people, we've got another question.

Yellow: *Groans* When oh when is this nightmare gonna end?

Northwind: Neva~

Black: With that attitude, not any time soon. *Realizes what Northwind just said* Wait, what?

Northwind: Nothing! Anyway, this question is for everyone but the Impostors, so you guys can sit this one out.

Red, Black, and Brown: *Shrugs simultaneously*

White: I don't like this. Why don't I like this?

Northwind: I wouldn't see why you don't like it if I haven't even said the question yet.

White: Well, most of these chapters have ended in chaos or us dying...

Northwind: Hey, I'm not the one doing it, that's you guys. Anyway, rosevoltaris would like to know if you know what you're signing up for when you join MIRA. Like, do you know that there's the possibility of death, or are you kept in the dark?

Cyan: Oh no, we know. It goes on the news and we see it waaaaay before we apply. We know exactly what we're getting into.

Northwind: And this is the same for everyone here?

Everyone: *Nods*

Red: *Hugs Pluffsy to his chest* By all the stars, where is your guys' sense of self-preservation?!

Lime: Hey! It wasn't like we had a choice!

Red: You literally could have gone anywhere else. Joined that nanotechnology duo, gone to community college and tried to get in that way, I don't know!

Lime: MIRA offered some of the best education on Earth, not to mention living on-campus, meals, and transportation back to the mainland is free!

Green: When you become an officer, it's the same.

Orange: Yeah, and in any case, it's possible to die in space by any other cause, so it's relatively fine. Besides, it's space! Some of us really want to be here!

Blue: And some of us had no other option.

Everyone: *Blinks*

Blue: Hey, I got a scholarship, okay? I couldn't pay for anything else and besides, MIRA usually accepts anyone. From any background.

Brown: Why did that addition sound so much ominous?

Blue: I don't know, why did it?

Everyone: ...

Blue: ...

Everyone: ... ... ...

White: So... moving along... there's usually three types of people in MIRA. The 'Family Tradition' people, who are officers whose parents were officers for MIRA and apply to keep the tradition going. The 'Space is cool and I wanna go' people, who apply because, y'know, they wanna go to space. Then there's the 'I don't have anywhere else to go' people, who basically can't get a job anywhere else or are in a disadvantaged situation.

Yellow: I'm honestly surprised that the first one exists, seeing that all of us seem to die so quickly.

Orange: Soren, stop being so salty.

Yellow: Hey, you died as well!

Orange: Well, I didn't want to have kids of my own anyway, so ha!

Yellow: ... I hate you.

Cyan: Oh, come on guys! You literally just made up!

Orange: Nah, he doesn't really mean it-

Yellow: I do. I do mean it.

Orange: See, he doesn't really mean it. It's fine.

Yellow: *Shakes his head and grumbles*

Blue: *Eating popcorn* Are you gonna bring up anything else into the argument or are you done?

Yellow: We're done. Now stop using us for entertainment.

Blue: Look at Northwind. They're using our life story for reads!

Northwind: Well, yeah, that what a book is.

White: Are we really created by him, though?

Green: Uh, have you seen your guys' backstories?

White: ...Fair point, but still. Did he really create us? What's the evidence?

Black: The evidence is that you still manage to be wholesome even though your environment was anything but.

White: Is it really evidence, though?

Green: Yeah, it is, so join the troupe who thinks we should kill them for revenge.

White: Nah, I'm good. I don't believe someone that young could create us.

Northwind: Think what you want, I guess. Believe and think what you want.
