It's all my fault this happened.
——————————————
Robin slowly got up, peaking her head into the hallway. She left Will and Mike for a moment, Mike holding Will close as he cried softly. Will was still declining. Couldn't talk, even though there wasn't a tube down his throat.
Robin looks into the hallway. "Steve." she whisper yelled. "Steve."
Steve looks over, raising an eyebrow. "What, is something wrong?" He says, standing up straight.
"No- everything's fine. I was wondering if you could talk to Will about something." She says, grabbing his sleeve and pulling him into the room.
Steve dug his heels into the ground. "Woah woah Robin- what are you talking about."
"You'll find out, okay? It will all make sense."
—————with Will and Mike————
"You know she's right, Will." Mike whispers softly. "I'm so...so sorry if I ever made you feel like there was something wrong with you. Will I've been meaning to tell you something. I uh-" Mike begins, but is cut off when the door opens again.
Robin holds the door open, Steve walking in. Robin pressed the door closed gently, before leaning against the wall.
"So...what exactly am I...doing?" Steve says, trying to ignore how ill Will looked.
"Steve you remember that time when we were in the bathroom...puking our stomachs out...remember what I told you?" Robin asks, speaking softly.
"Tammy Thompson?" Steve asks, glancing at her. "Robin do...they know?" Steve asks, motioning to the two teen boys in the hospital bed.
"More then you think. Will...is going through the same thing..." she says, standing next to Steve now.
Will slowly glanced up at Steve...clearly afraid and nervous. He was wheezing softly, which has been happening off and on for awhile now.
Steve looks at Will, raising an eyebrow. "You like Tammy t-"
"No! Steve- god. Will feels...like there is something wrong with him. Kind of like what I felt when I told you about Tammy..." she says softly.
Steve nodded gently, starting to understand. He swallowed before speaking.
"I see." He says, pulling the chair back that was next to the bed, sitting down in it. He looked at Will, who seemed terrified.
"You don't like girls, do ya Byers?" Steve asks, looking at him. Will didn't answer. He just closed his eyes, shaking and tears rolling down his cheeks.
"That's okay." Steve says, looking at him. "Hey- don't cry now. I know it's scary, Will. There isn't anything wrong with you. It's just love. People can't choose who you do and don't love. If you like guys, then you like guys." He says, leaning back into the chair.
Will glanced away, shaking. Steve sighs, sitting up more and looking at Will. "You wanna know something?" He asks.
Wills eyes drifted over to him, uncertain.
"I like a boy too." Steve says, glancing away. "You can't tell him though. And I mean that towards you, Robin." He says, looking over to Robin.
"I won't I won't." She laughs.
Will smiled softly, relaxing slowly. He then felt his mind start going fuzzy, and everything started getting blurry.
Steve laughed, looking at Robin. He sighs, turning back to Will. He paused. "Byers?" He says, to no avail. Will didn't even look over. Steve stood up. "Will."
Mike sat up instantly, getting out of the bed. "What's going on?" Mike asks, nervous.
Robin shook her head. "I don't know."
Wills eyes were badly open. They floated around the room. Steve cupped his cheek. "Will look at me. You see me?" He asks, but Wills eyes rolled back, his head starting to fall to his chest. His heart rate was slowly rising, one by one.
Steve held Wills head up with two hands. "Byers stay with me now. Don't do this." He says, panic filling his body. He looked at the monitor, which was starting to beep from his oxygen tanking. He heard yelling from behind him (Robin holding Mike back from getting on the bed) but everything sounded underwater. Eventually things started to clear up, hearing wise. He tried reaching towards the red nurse button on the wall, groaning as he tried to stretch. He pressed it, just as Wills monitor started beeping rapidly. His heart rate rose, a lot. Wills hand started twitching. Then, everything started shaking.
"No...no." Steve said, shaking his head. Nurses, along with Joyce, Hopper and Jonathan; ran in just as the seizure started. Wills body tense, eyes rolled back. Body starting to shake and jerk.
Steve was pulled off the bed, nurses yelling at everybody to get out. Steve didn't fight it. He allowed himself to be brought out. Mike was yelling, trying to get to Will.
Joyce was allowed to stay in the room, along with Jonathan and Hopper. Family.
