"Australia, keep quiet. My girl is sleeping."
Napamulat ako ng marinig ang pagtatalo ng dalawang tao sa room. Sydney had her arms crossed in front of Razen, who was sitting on the couch. My attention was then drawn to the man leaning against the wall, who was dressed in a khaki T-shirt and white jeans. His hair was neatly cut, revealing the piercing on his ear.
And, I could clearly tell that he's a Chinese descent based on his eyes.
"She's awake." In a deep voice, the Chinese guy informed them.
Si Sydney ay agad na bumaling sa direksyon ko. Naglakad na ito papalapit, halata sa mukha niya na marami itong itatanong. Tumayo rin si Razen at nilagpasan ang kaibigan ko upang halikan ako sa noo. The two of them were standing right on the both side of my bed. While the Chinese guy went and sat down on the couch.
"Why are you here at the hospital?! May sakit ka ba?" Sydney quickly placed her palm on my forehead. "Wala naman. Were you sprained? Or? Got into accident? Pero hindi naman! By the looks of you, you're okay!"
"Don't shout," saway ni Razen sa kaniya.
"I'm not shouting!" tanggol naman niya sa sarili niya.
Napahilot ako sa sentido ko. Nakita ata 'yon ni Razen dahil kaagad itong umalalay sa akin. He looked worried again, and from what I could see, he was already planning to kick Sydney out of the room.
"I'm fine." I assured him so that he won't get anxious anymore.
Naguguluhang tumingin sa akin si Sydney. "Wait, I thought you already broke up or something?"
"Obviously not, and we won't." Razen answered in a serious voice.
She just rolled her eyes at him. "So, Aela, bakit ka nga nandito sa ospital? Kung hindi ko pa tinanong kay Mama mo ay hindi ko malalaman kung bakit ka wala kanina."
I just got up from an afternoon nap. Halatang hindi pa siya umuuwi mula sa pagpasok sa school. Naka-uniporme pa kasi ito ngayon. So that means, sinundo siya ng lalaki na 'yon? The last time I check, that's not her Kuya. Kilala ko ang kapatid niya kaya sigurado akong hindi 'yang lalaking kasama niya ngayon,
He looks the same age as Razen. Napunta sa kaniya ang atensyon ko na wala sa oras. He was already busy scrolling his phone. Kung hindi ko lang narinig ang pagtikhim ni Razen ay hindi ko pa sila mapapansin.
"Sino siya?" I pointed at the Chinese guy.
Ang kaninang daldal na daldal na si Sydney ay tumahimik. I saw her avoiding my eyes this time. Si Razen naman ay tinignan lang ako gamit ang naiirita niyang mukha.

"Are you hiding something?" nagtatampo kong sabi.
Napailing ito agad habang nakataas ang dalawang kamay niya sa tapat ng tiyan niya. I smell something different. Pansin ko rin kasi sa kaniya na hindi na ito masyadong lumalabas, e dati aya ng aya sa akin na kumain sa labas.
"Is he your boyfriend?" I curiously asked her. "What's his name?"
"A." Razen gave me a warning look.
