billy- angry.

Today, one of my childhood best friends is moving to Hawkins! Well, they already moved here but i haven't had the chance to see them yet however they're gonna start going to my school today so I'm exited to see them.
You see, before i moved to Hawkins i lived across the street from them. I know everyone hates billy and honestly i don't blame them but I've always been there for him and he trusts me. He's not actually a bad guy he's just broken.. he grew up with an abusive dad and would be beaten up for the smallest things, that's why he built these strong walls around him. It's so he wouldn't get hurt again. Then, max came along and he didn't know how to deal with it so he became a fucking asshole towards her and in many forms, abusive. But it's not his fault, he grew up only knowing that way of being and that molded the person he is today. He's actually really sweet and protective over the ones he loves but he didn't get loved as a child so he sees it as being week.. i just wish people could see him the way i do.. maybe he would stop being to angry all the time.
Anyway, i get up and get ready for school. Once I get there i wait for max and billy to show up.
I see this car speeding towards the school and stopping in one of the parking spaces, then max get out of the car with her skateboard.
"Max!" I say running up to her.
"Y/n? Hey!" She says hugging me.
"How you been?"
"You know, the same as always."
"If you ever need a place to stay you can stay with me ok?"
"Thanks." She says skating away.
Then, billy gets out of the car and i see almost every girl there basically drooling over him Wich makes me laugh.
He looks around then spots me. He starts walking up to me.
"Hey bill!" I say giving him a quick hug sense i know he doesn't like to show affection outside.
"Hey, i was wondering if you were gonna talk to me or just to my sister." He says mocking me.
"Yeah yeah, c'mon I'll show you around dickhead."
I walk him through the school and see some bullies giving me death stares but they didn't come up to me this time, probably because or billy.
"Ok, this is your first classroom. I'm not in this class but we can see each other in the lunch break, k?"
"Yeah."
As soon as I start to walk away by myself the bullies come up to me.
"So, what did you get a body guard? Pathetic."
"I'm pretty sure what's pathetic is you guys being so afraid of my friend you didn't even do your daily routine of bullying me." I say as i roll my eyes and try to walk past them.
But this time they didn't let me go, instead they pushed me into the bathroom and two of them held my arms so i can run away as the leader of the dumb group began to punch my stomach.
With every punch i felt the air being forced out if my lungs until i was almost passing out in pain. But it didn't end there, he also punched me on the face a few times leaving me with a bloody nose and a black eye.
When he left, his little fucking pets pushed me down to the ground and left after him.
Now, I'm curled up on the floor gasping for air as silent tears roll down my face in pain. I already realized that i wasn't gonna make it to the first classes so i take my time and slowly get up. Soon, i hear the bell ring signaling it's now lunch break. I guess i must've spent a long time there.
I walk with a tiny limp to the the cafeteria and look for billy. One i spot him i start walking up to him, being careful to not hurt anything on the way.
He spots me and i can instantly see a new layer of angry on his face. He runs up to me and helps me walk over to a empty spot with less people around.
"Who did this?"
"It's nothing bill, it's not a big deal I'm getting pretty used to it."
"Who. Did. It." He says as his hands turn into fists in anger.
I give up on trying to talk him out of whatever he's planning on doing because at this point I'm just tired. I quickly glance over to the bully's in response and hold my chest in pain as the adrenaline washes off and the pain kicks in.
He walks up to the guys and looks directly to the 'leader' of the group.
"Hey man-" he gets cut off by billy grabbing him by his shirt and slamming him against the wall.
"You touch y/n again and I'll break your fingers got it?"
"Why do you care, are you one of the little fairies of the town?" He says making fun of him.
Well that was dumb. Now billy punched him in the face and let go of him to walk over to me.
"Bill you didn't have to do that.."
"Too late, c'mon I'm taking you home, max can skate back to our house today."
"What? No, your taking max home. Don't be a douchebag to her you know how it is to be in her position."
"... Fine. But we're skipping the rest of the classes today."
"Fine." I say as we walk to his car.
