Spencer Reid- surprise.

Me and Spencer have been dating for about a year now, we live about three hours away so we don't see each other all the time but we still talk and call everyday.
Today is Spencer's birthday and i decide to go visit him at his work, he's told me many times he'd like me to meet them so i hope he likes this little surprise.
I change into a cute outfit and head to where he told me he works.

I get to my destination and walk inside the building.
I decide to call him and let him know I'm here, because i don't know my way around the place.
"Hey Spence! Happy birthday ~" i say to him through the phone.
"Hey, love! Thank you, i wish I could see you today."
"Speaking of that, could you please come to the entrance of the building?  I don't know how to get to you here."
"Wait what- you're here?" He says with excitement in his voice.
"Maybe i am, come here to find out."
"Ok ok I'll be right there."
After about a minute or so i see him walking out of the elevator and over to where i am. As soon as he sees me he runs up to be and gives me a hug.
"Y/n! I missed you!" He says, holding my face and kissing me.
"Hey handsome! I missed you too."
"I can't believe your actually here, this is so cool."
"I'm glad your happy, i was kinda nervous."
"What? Why?"
"I don't know i guess i just got a bit anxious to see you, i didn't want to embarrass you or anything."
"Your not embarrassing me, i love having you around you know that."
He holds my hand and we start walking to the elevator.
"Want to meet my friends?"
"Sure!" I say as we get into the elevator.
"I like your hair today, it looks nice."
"Thank you." He says blushing.
We get to the floor he works on and walk over to where his friends are.
"Hey, Spencer your back. What happened you walked out of here in a hurry." One of his friends says.
"Yeah, us sorry about that. -he says in his cute awkward way, it's funny because when it's only me and him he's way more relaxed but i can tell he also feels comfortable around them.- i was awnsering a call that m-"
"Sorry if I interrupted your guy's work i called him."
"No you didn't interrupt anything, mind telling us who your friend is?" He asks Spencer.
"He's my boyfriend i told you about, y/n."
"Hi. It's really cool to finally meet you guys." I say.
"Oh cool! I was staring to think he made you up. I'm Derek." He says, mocking him.
"Hi! I'm Penelope, you can call me pen. It's nice to meet you, good to know Spencer has good taste."
"I'm Elle, nice to meet you."
We talk for a little while and then i let them go back to work. Spencer have me the keys to his place so i can stay there if i want to. I can't wait to spend the weekend with him.
