"Hope? Hope?" Josie repeated, trying to get the girl's attention.

"Huh? What?" Hope broke out of the trance she was in. "I was too distracted by your lips."

Hope continued to stare at Josie.

"I asked you a question. We're supposed to be studying," Josie whined. "The final is tomorrow."

"But that's so boring, plus, you already know everything," Hope groaned. "You need to relax a little. Here, I have a better idea."

Hope hopped up from her desk chair, shut Josie's book, and kissed her. At first, it was a small peck on the lips, but then it progressed to a full on make out session.

"It's always about kissing with you, isn't it?" Josie managed to get a word in, though she sounded content.

"What can I say? I can't help it when I'm around you."

Josie couldn't help but blush at the comment.

"And now that I have your mind away from your textbook," Hope made a face at Josie. "I've been wanting to talk to you about something."

The smile immediately dropped from Josie's face.

"No, don't worry, it's something good for a change," Hope assured her. "The end of year formal is coming up. And I was hoping you'd want to go with me?"

"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" Josie answered excitedly.

Josie hugged Hope so tight, Hope thought she might break a rib.

"We need to go shopping and pick our outfits and plan everything," Josie spoke quickly, their final the next day clearly forgotten.

"I already spoke with your parents and Lizzie. We're getting a limo."

"A limo?" Josie was pleasantly surprised.

"Yeah, nothing but the best for you, Jo."

"Thank you," Josie kissed Hope. "I have the best girlfriend in the world."
