Rock music played softly through the radio speaker in the 100 - no, 48 - living quarters. Adalynn sat on the bottom bunk, her book, Invisible Man, opened and being read. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Clarke using one of the pens given to her by President Wallace to draw and scribble in her binder.

"It's not bad." Jasper's voice said softly as he stood over Clarke's shoulder, his height making it easy for him to see what she was drawing, "Maybe they'll, uh, hang it on the walls here one day."

Suddenly, two people appeared in the doorway of their room. Miller, now wearing dark washed jeans and a blue button down, stood next to the girl Jasper was clearly crushing on. Maya, Adalynn had learned her name over the last couple days, wore a pale purple sundress, some pieces of hair pulled back.

"Look who's back!" A distinct voice called to Miller's return. His injuries were more extensive than originally thought, causing him to be back in medical for several days.

"Back from surgery once again." Miller addressed the eyes on him, a small smile on his face. Adalynn stood to her feet, her book placed aside on the nightstand.

"I'm glad you're okay, Miller." She smiled at the boy as she adjusted the shoulder straps of her dark washed overalls. She wore a gray short sleeve shirt underneath and white slip-ons on her feet.

"Heard you two have been causing trouble." Miller's eyes shifted between the two blondes. The older girl's eyebrows furrowed at the comment looking back to the younger of the two and noticed her eyes were on Maya. Addie turned to the dark haired girl, she sheepishly looked now, knowing she was caught.

"Twice a day. Don't forget." Maya shifted the topic, handing Miller his medication, "He'll be okay in a few days."

"Thanks." Miller was short as he took his bag from her, placing it under Clarke's bunk. Adalynn leaned against the same bunk, she and Clarke both watching Jasper and Maya fall into step, listening into their conversation.

"Maya! Top of the morning," He stared, odd Irish accent (or an attempt at one) made the girl laugh, "That was a very dumb thing to say that I saw in an old movie once. Are you going to breakfast?"

"Yeah." Maya said, smile on her face, "Wanna go together?"

"Sure. yeah, I'd - I'd love to -"

A loud alarm wailing cut their conversation short and it startled everyone.

"What the hell does that alarm mean?" Adalynn asked Maya, cutting the girls gait off as she was making her way back to the doors. Clarke, who jumped down from her bunk, closely behind.

"The signal means a surface patrol is back, and someone needs medical attention." Maya explained to the girls, glancing back to Jasper before stepping around them, "I have to go to quarantine."

Without a second thought, Adalynn stepped forward to follow the Mountain girl only for Jasper's arm to grip tightly at her bicep.

"Addie, what are you doing?"

"It could mean they found survivors. It could mean Bellamy is here." The look on Jasper's face showed the girl he thought she was reaching but it didn't matter to her, "If our people are hurt, we have a right to know."

"She's right. Let's go." Clarke agreed with her beginning to walk out of the room.

"Pretty sure we shouldn't go wandering around!" Jasper called out yet followed the to anyways, the three falling into a quick step and making their way through the facility. The yellow lights bathing the hallways as they made it to where Maya and the rest of her team were.

"What are we dealing with?" Maya's voice was heard. The group was changing into the blue hazmat suits they had seen multiple times now.

"They were attacked. One dead in room two. The other took off his gloves and mask to treat him. He's in Decon. He'll need treatment as soon as he's processed." A guy explained the situation as the three walked through the suiting up group.
