"Stop moving, peaches." Bellamy mumbled as he rubbed the antibiotic cream, given to him by Jackson, across the large cut on the girl's forehead.
"Sorry." She hissed attempting to stop herself from retracting the boy's touch. Although it had been a few days, the cuts were healing and smaller than the first day but they still burned when touched.
"All done." He said, wiping his hand on the cloth of his pants. The girl sat on a metal table within one of the workrooms of the fallen Ark, he stood above her on his feet.
"Thank you."
"Anytime." The smiles that played on their lips were pure and innocent. Bellamy ducted his head down pressing his lips to the girl's for a brief moment before pulling slightly back, "I'll never be used to kissing you."
"Neither will I." Adalynn responded, pushing their lips to one another's again.
"Hey you two." Clarke's voice interrupted them, breaking apart to notice the girl at the doorway to the room, a smirk played on the girl's face, "we've got to talk. Meet me outside."
"On our way." Adalynn told the girl who walked off, she placed a hand on Bellamy's chest, pushing him back slightly so she could get to her feet, "Let's go, pretty boy."
He didn't respond, only pressed one last kiss to her forehead before letting her lead the way toward the outside where Clarke sat at one of the tables by the makeshift bar area. A paper was laid out in front of her as she studied the imaging on it. Adalynn sat directly besides her close friend, Bellamy on her left.
The large paper was a drawing Clarke rendered of the Mountain. An unsettling feeling wrapped itself around Adalynn as she thought of what those people did to everyone here, what they're probably doing to the forty-six that remained.
"What did you come up with?" Bellamy was the one to speak up, taking in the drawing.
"It's a labyrinth. We got to the dam through this tunnel." Clarke started, pointing towards the spot they jumped from, "That's all connected to the mine system. That's our way in."
"Sure if we can get past the reapers and the Mountain Men." A beat of silence bounced around the trio, "I swear to God, if your mom doesn't sanction a mission soon I'm going by myself."
"I'll beat you to that." Adalynn quipped looking towards the boy.
"You two won't be by yourselves." The other girl added in as another reassuring silence fell between the three as they thought of their options. Suddenly, Clarke's eyes shifted towards the entrance to the fallen Ark, people filling out of it, Finn among them.
"I guess the inquisition's over." Bellamy noted before turning back to the two girls, eyes locked on the youngest, "How's Finn doing anyways?"
"I haven't talked to him since we got back." Clarke admitted, "I don't know what to say. He just kept shooting."
"As much as he's not my favorite person, we've all done things." Adalynn reminded the girl just as Finn appeared at the empty side of the table.
"Hey." The air instantly felt thick as Finn's eyes locked on Clarke's avoiding ones.
"Bell and I will go get some drinks." Adalynn broke the tension, standing from her seat, pleading eyes landing on Bellamy's for him to get the hint.
"Uhh yeah, right behind you." Bellamy stumbled, hand rubbing the back of his neck as he stood and followed the girl through the maze of tables, the two ending up at a longer table where they were promptly handed drinks.
"You're worried about them?" Bellamy spoke up as he watched Adalynn take a long drink, he noticed the worry in her eyes and the constant tapping of her foot or the rubbing of her palms she had been doing since she and Clarke made their way home.
