You smiled as Robin led you out of Eddie's trailer by your hand, the rest of the group following after you with Eddie leading the way, shooting you small smiles as they glanced at you. You returned the smiles but your eye caught the frowns on their faces, the worry darkening their eyes, the looks they shot each other when you looked away. You bit back a sigh, knowing that your little argument with Robin had opened a can of worms you'd rather stayed closed. Robin squeezed your hand once before stopping and turning to the group, you gave her a questioning glance but otherwise remained quiet.

"Okay. So, before we move forward with this disastrous plan" - you rolled your eyes at her comment- " she needs to rest" - you opened your mouth to say that you were fine but before you uttered a single word she continued, louder-"Don't deny it- Frankly, we all do. So, I'm taking her to my place, we'll see you guys tomorrow, here, yes?"

Robin barely waited until a few of them nodded before tugging your hand and continuing. You frowned at her but trudged along, her steps hastier than normal forcing you to keep up.

"You know we can't go around walking like this, right?" You said after a few more minutes, and Robin turned to look at you confused.

"Why not?" You frowned at her, her voice was distant, her mind somewhere else but you didn't comment on it.

"Angry mob? Remember? We're somewhat fugitives now." You also wanted to comment that her house was around an hour away on foot, but you kept that to yourself. She stopped with a small 'oh' and turned to look around as if suddenly you would have said angry mob chasing after you. You sighed with a small smile and tugged her hand, guiding her into the woods.

"C'mon. We can hide in the trees and besides, I know a shortcut to your house" She followed after you with a shy glance and a quiet 'right'.

You kept an ear out for any suspicious activity or signs of people near you, shooting Robin passing glances as she quietly followed after you. You made sure to go slow, avoiding ditches and particularly big branches that were on the ground, aware that she was following you blind, her mind miles away, her downward look and furrowed brow a dead give away. You let her digest whatever she was mulling over in that fascinating mind of hers, your own mind drifting to the inevitable face off you would have with Vecna.

If everything went your way, you would be able to distract him long enough for them to attack, somehow avoiding him all the while so you didn't actually end up dead. You sighed. Just another Tuesday, right?

A branch snapped to your left and you stopped abruptly, making Robin crash into you, you lifted your hand to stop her from saying anything as you inspected the area the sound had come from. You narrowed your eyes as the sound of crunching leaves reached you and you took a step forward, letting go of Robin's hand and signaling her to stay still, you looked between some bushes. Your nostrils flared as you clenched your jaw, finally finding the source of the disturbance. It was Jason and his pose.

When you realized they were coming your way you quickly and silently went back to Robin, putting a finger to your mouth you directed her to hide behind a big dead tree trunk lying on the floor. You sat down and pulled her down with you, leaning your back against the tree, you strained your ears looking for footsteps. It wasn't necessary, because the dumbassess moved through the woods like an angry elephant and soon, Robin heard them too, throwing you an alarmed look. You took her hand and squeezed twice to reassure her. They were getting closer and you tensed, hoping they would walk right past the tree. They did. You sighed in relief and waited a couple of minutes more before coming out from behind the tree, Robin following you taking your hand once more.
