"So, anyway, I wanted to talk to you about something," I said, trying to sound casual despite the worry I'm feeling. I'm about to let Luke know something private about Bianca and I hope he's trustworthy enough to keep it to himself.

"Yeah, what is it?" He yells back from the bathroom. I can tell he's brushing his teeth as his words came out a bit muffled.

"It's about Bianca," I said.

"What about Bianca?" He asked back as he stepped out of the bathroom. He wipes his face with a towel before casually throwing it into the laundry hamper.

My eyes travel all over his beautifully sculpted body, silently reveling in the fact that he's shirtless and only wearing his boxers and the man is all mine.

Blinking myself out of eye fucking him, I watch him climb into the bed before he gives me a quick peck on the lips. He smells fresh like peppermint, and I wished that peck was a whole lot more.

"She's studying at NYU." I said quickly, not wanting to be distracted again.

"New York?" His brow scrunched in wonder. "How did she manage to convince the almighty Don Greyson to let her go there?"

"With a lot of persuasion from me," I said slowly then quickly added. "You know you can't tell anyone about this, right?"

"Babe, I can't believe you had to ask me that. Obviously, I won't tell. But, why are you telling me this?"

"She asked me to go there. Well, technically, she asked me to go to Jersey." I replied with caution.

"Why?"

"She's having her first fashion show, so she invited me to attend."

"You have to go." He said excitedly. "I mean, we're definitely going."

"Wait, are you sure it's safe? It's basically New York. I would assume, no one would recognize me, but people will definitely recognize you."

"Phhfff, relax. Like you said, technically, it's not New York. We can both go incognito if that'll make you feel better."

"Are you sure?–"

"Babe, you have no idea the number of places I'm already planning to show you. We're going. Don't fight me on this." He smirked before pecking my worried lips again.

I don a blue wig and big dark glasses to disguise myself. I and my sisters have all been to New York before, don't get us wrong, just because this is the Lombardi's stronghold doesn't mean we can't sneak in once in a while. It just means we have to apply extra caution while doing so to avoid uninvited trouble.

I arrived late Thursday, the show is on Friday, the next day. That morning, Bianca was out of her apartment early, since she had a lot to do before the show. I had agreed to meet Luke at a particular pizza place that he's been raving about. Knowing how passionate I am about our deep dish Chicago pizza, he likes to egg me saying this hole in the wall place is better.
