I can't believe Leo got an eyeful of Ivy twice in one day.
Fuck!
Ivy has been giving me the cold shoulder and all because I happened to use the same number code for my apartment in New York. I never anticipate this and once again, my foolproof plan proves to be flawed. I really need to review this whole thing again.
When I was about to leave for the office, I realized Ivy had gone ahead and left without her goodbye kiss, something she had been giving me ever since we moved in together. She must have been really really mad. I have to remember to get her some flowers or something. Should I just send one over to her office? We agreed that we would try and avoid running into each other as much as possible to avoid discovery. But considering I won't be hand delivering these flowers, it should be okay, I think.
From their brief meeting this morning, I can tell that Leo doesn't realize yet who Ivy really is and I guess that's one silver lining for today's disaster. Although, as I walk out of my car and towards the elevator, I'm still undecided on what I'm going to tell Leo.
I have no idea where he stands when it comes to the Greysons. Would he care? Or maybe he also finds the feud childish like Bianca does. Perhaps I should avoid that subject for now. Tread lightly if necessary.
But then again, he did walk in on us so his brain would be on the subject of Ivy. I don't want him to make any connection to the Greyson when his head is filled with thoughts about Ivy. Perhaps I should try to deflect as much as possible, and avoid the topic as best I could.
Leo has always been a bit nosy, always trying to learn someone else's business. At times it could be helpful as he is our ear on the ground. We could always count on him to know what goes on behind closed doors. But today, I doubt there's anything helpful with his penchant for butting into my personal business.
I reached the hotel and threw my car keys at the usual valet before making my way inside. Pressing the up button for the elevator. Two other staff showed up and they greeted me with a polite nod as we waited together for the thing to arrive.
I was scrolling my phone, trying to kill time when I finally heard the ding.
Stepping in, I went straight to one corner and busied myself with my phone, not wishing to mingle with the staff or anyone for that matter. I knew I was in a long wait as my office is on the top floor and the elevator is bound to make several stops along the way.
I think we had probably stopped twice or three times when someone nudged me at my side, almost causing me to drop my phone. Someone actually had the balls to nudge the boss so carelessly and I was displeased at being interrupted. It seems that is a recurring theme today.
I turned, getting ready to scold whoever that person might be, and was faced with a grinning Leo.
"Sooo, you're gonna spill?" He asked me, clearly in the mood for gossip, oblivious to my actual mood.
