𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎'𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 crashing down during her second period of school. if she thought that more horrible events would happen in her life, this definitely was not one of them. she was currently hiding out in the bathroom, skipping third period as she tried to stop the oncoming panic attack that was trying to hit her. but it was no use, she was already breathing irregularly with tears streaming down her cheeks. how could this have happened? how could she do this to her? how could she just go out and expose her like that? she thought they were friends. arlo thought that they were more than friends. but clearly they weren't, and that only made her chest tighten even more as she sat on the toilet in one of the stalls. her fist clenched at her shirt as she looked up at at the blinding lights.
"oh, god." arlo mumbled, swallowing the rock that had formed in her throat. her life was over. she wouldn't be able to show her face anywhere. she wouldn't be able to go home. maybe she can go live with steve permanently. i mean, she basically already lived with him.
arlo tensed up when she heard the bathroom door open, quickly bringing her feet up and tucking her knees into her chest. "bambi?" a familiar raspy voice called.
