𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 small room, the older boy munching on a banana as the duo dustin listened to the secret russian communication that he recorded. they had been listening to the tape recorder for hours, and apollo was starting to get headache. arlo had been picked up by percy, mike, will, and lucas, the harrington girl giving apollo, steve and dustin hugs before she left. apollo groaned, reaching into his pocket to pull out his lighter. he flicked it open, a flame immediately appearing before he flicked the lighter closed. he repeated his actions again, listening to the recording come to an end for the millionth time that day.
"so what do you think?" dustin questioned, looking between apollo and steve, who was still pacing.
"it sounded familiar." steve answered as he finished his banana. dustin and apollo shared a confused glance, wanting to know how the hell it sounded familiar.
"what?" apollo asked.
"the music. the music right there at the end." steve elaborated, his mouth full of mushed banana.
"why are you listening to the music, steve?" dustin asked. "why are you listening to the music, steve? listen to the russian! we're translating russian!"
