it was now summer, and everything had gone back to normal for the party. eleven and mike were together, and so was arlo and max. there was even something going on between apollo and steve.

𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐗 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐋 as they entered the building of the community pool. it had been cloudy and gloomy all day and it had just started to rain only a few minutes ago. the three girls had gone to max's house to check up on billy because of what el had seen in the void the night before. the only things they found was a tub full of water and empty ice bags, a blood covered whistle, and a lifeguard fanny pack. before the three girls traveled over to the pool, max had given them some raincoats, arlo wearing a navy blue one while max had on a yellow one and el had on a red one. the there girls walked over to the desk, avoiding all of the people that were trying to get out of the rain.
"excuse me." max started, looking at the guy who was reading an old book and a girl who was sitting on a counter.
"no one in the water until 30 minutes after the last strike. and don't try and argue with me. you wanna get electrocuted, go climb a tree." the guy interrupted, not even looking up from the book.
"yeah, we don't care. we're not here to swim. or get electrocuted." max told him.
"we found this." el informed, pulling out the fanny pack that they had found. this made the two lifeguards behind the desk look up.
