The seats slowly fill up with people. My heart slowly fills up with hate and anger towards Angelina.

'You ready, America?' Lucas Edwards's voice rings through the arena. The crowd goes wild.

I've always dreamed of being here, I shouldn't ruin my night because of one fake friend.

I cheer alongside the crowd.

'Hey!' Lucas steps on stage, and we go crazy. I take a moment to admire the God standing a mere ten feet away from me. He looks absolutely bizarre.
His choice of clothing, as usual, is perfect. He's wearing a black T-shirt with white sleeves. Black pants, black boots, black everything else. He added chains to his belt, around his neck and on his boots.

His hands are filled with rings. I see a few silver bracelets on his right wrist, a watch on his left. His dirty blonde hair styled to perfection. Let's not forget his sea-blue eyes glinting in the light.

I'm not drooling, you are.

'What's up?' Lucas says onto the microphone. The crowd cheers louder. 'Thank you for coming.. First song I'm performing tonight, Uneven!'

I cheer. Uneven was one of Ezra and I's favorites of Lucas.

Lucas's career started very early. Ever since I was he was a twelve, he would post videos of him singing and playing the guitar. Ezra would always tell me that he would grow to be a famous celebrity. Uneven was a song Lucas posted when he was thirteen.

A man steps on stage, hands Lucas a guitar, fixes the microphone, and returns to the sideline.

'Ready?'

Lucas sturms a few notes on the guitar. I pull out my phone and start filming.

He plays the opening verse to his song, then starts singing.

'Ever wonder why your life turns upside down?'

The crowd, and me, sing along with him.

'You find yourself in a happy place, then it's gone,'

Lucas's voice puts me in a rollercoaster of emotions. One second his song is a sweet, lovey, dovey song, then it turns into a depressing, sad one.

He sings the chorus, the crowd sings along with him. I imagine what is it like, to have millions of people know your songs by heart.
Ezra always encouraged me to put my musical skills to use. He always used to make me sing to him, play my music in front of him. But after he died, I just lost interest.

'My world went uneven after you left,
and the only way to put it right,
is for you to come back'

The audience goes quiet for a minute while Lucas vocalises, then he sings the last verse with so much emotion I won't be surprised if tears are running down my cheeks.

I cheer along with the crowd while Lucas smiles and bows on stage. I see him scan the crowd before his eyes lock with mine.

Let me repeat that, his eyes lock with mine.

His blue eyes meet my green ones. I get lost in them. His eyes remind me of the endless ocean, I can almost see the waves moving in them. Lucas keeps eye contact. His icy gaze scans every inch of my eyes. His smile widens.

They say you can't feel a touch, but at that moment, when Lucas Edwards's eyes meet mine, I feel his stare, feel it seeping through my veins. A look so familiar for someone I never met.

His icy blue stare doesn't waver, nothing about it is nervous. It's telling me 'I see you', telling me 'I'm paying attention to you'.

It's overwhelming in the best way possible.
