It was very rare you ever left your dungeon. Being a technical analyst for the Chicago Police Department was something you took pride in, but you enjoyed being in the safety of the district, not in the field. But when the 21st precinct was trying to solve a homicide on the city line, they came across the house of the suspect. Inside, there was a locked computer. The key to finding the suspect was behind a password, and the team couldn't get it. You gathered your laptop and headed to the scene, your bulletproof vest that collected a decent amount of dust was clad around your torso.

You exited the police cruiser, following one of the officers inside. The body of a dead woman was exposed as you walked by, trying to ease your stomach and mind. You considered yourself a soft person and while you could usually handle seeing the crime scene photos, you weren't used to the smells, which is ultimately what bothered you. "Y/N, over here!" you heard Hailey call to you and you quickly moved into the room. Standing around, everyone looked at you. They were used to seeing you, but only in your office. "Y/N, can you unlock this computer?" Voight asked, leading you to the chair. You gave him a smirk, taking a seat and pulling out your own PC. "I don't think I've ever had a password I couldn't crack. Give me 10 minutes," you said, immediately typing away.

"Actually, give me 8 minutes and a taco."

As the minutes ticked by, you had the computer under your control and you were able to access all the files on it. "How did you do that?" Jay asked from behind you, which startled you because you didn't even hear him enter the room. "Uh, well there's this thing. It's a malware which is stored in memory which allows an attacker to authenticate as any domain user in the network by using a master password," you explained, and he stood quietly. "It allows me control over the entire computer, giving me domain administrator level privileges," you explained it to him as though he were 5, and seeing him nod understandingly made you laugh.

As just the both of you stood in the room, Jay was leaning slightly over you: one hand on the desk beside you and the other one resting on the back of your chair. "You should come out in the field more often," he somewhat whispered to you, and you felt your face get hot. "No thanks, I'll leave the 'cops and robbers' to the professionals. I'm only here for the techy stuff," you happily took a bite of your taco, and Jay gave you the cutest smile.

"Maybe I can teach you more about the 'cops and robbers' stuff."
