"I'm home, I'm home," you told Kelly to calm down his rambling. "Don't stay out like that with no one to drive you home. I don't want you walking through Chicago like that again," he told you sternly. You could only drunkenly giggle as you searched your purse for your apartment keys. "Yes sir, Severide sir," you joked. He didn't find it funny and you knew he wouldn't rest until you were in your apartment, with the door locked behind you. He could be very protective of you, which sometimes you appreciated, but sometimes it felt like he was your father more than your husband. You continued to searching for your keys, but after looking for about 2 minutes, you couldn't find them. "Are you inside yet?" he asked, noticing the door hadn't opened yet. You hummed lowly, not sure what you could've done with them.

"Kellyyy Severideeeee, my apartment keys are missing. I'll walk to the station and-" "no, you're not walking anywhere. We'll come to you," you heard shuffling on his end and knew he was getting dressed. He was slightly annoyed, because he could be relaxing in between calls right now, but he got to see you, so it didn't bother him too much. He stayed on the phone with you the entire ride, and you sat on your step humming to yourself when you saw the Squad truck pull up and Kelly hopped out first. "My baby came to save the daaay," you sing songed, and he couldn't help but laugh seeing you unharmed, just very drunk. The rest of squad got out, greeting you with a humorous expression on all their faces.

They didn't have to come along, but they enjoyed your company; there were a lot of times where Kelly would leave you with them as he was busy around the station only to come back and find you wreaking havoc with them. He pulled his lock pick out of his pocket, and within seconds, your apartment door was opened. "You want to have sex before you go back to work?" you asked, and his face flushed a deep shade of red as his coworkers snickered behind him. He helped you up and inside, and laid you on the couch. He went to your cabinet and grabbed a glass of water and some pain medicine, knowing drunk you is always hungover.

"Here, take these pills. I'll help you shower when I get off, okay? I'll be back home in a couple hours," he handed you the medicine, which you took with ease. He didn't want you drunk and falling in the shower. "We'll see you around, Y/N," they all left and only you and Kelly remained. "I love you, baby," you muttered, already feeling tired. "I love you, too.  Stay here until I get back."
