chapter 22

finally a new chapter :D

George pov

'George...?' My eyes widened when I recognized the two people in front of me, both hounds I had seen before. 

'Karl, Sapnap?' I asked hesitantly, yes, it was them, they looked a bit different in their suits but it was them, I could recognize their faces.

'George!' Karl smiled at me and I took a step back, they weren't here for nothing, and I can't let my guard down just yet because they did try to kill me. I don't know if they noticed that I used my magic, but Sapnap also seemed a bit cautious. 

'What are you guys doing here?' I asked hesitantly, they shrugged at me. Although they didn't say, I had a sneaking suspicion they were here for Dream. But the question is how are they so on point, they could've searched anywhere, it took Tommy very long to find here and he knew what to look for. 

'We could ask the same.' Sapnap said slowly and I narrowed my eyes at him, they're here for Dream but I don't know if they want me too. 

I took a step back and wondered if I should teleport away or just run, they had whipped out their knives and looked like they would lunge at me any second.

I was missing something, like a puzzle piece, because they couldn't have come here randomly, they were too accurate, and of all the places they could've searched, they didn't even have enough time to search the whole city so why did they come here of all places.

'Now George, you see, after you "disappeared", Dream had been very sad. But we can change that.' Sapnap smirked at me and my eyes widened, I was not going back to the city. 

I teleported out of the way when both of them lunged at me, I can't keep teleporting, it's going to get really tiring. 

Confusion flashed across their faces when I disappeared from my spot but they quickly turned around and saw me. 

I kept dodging and teleporting away as they chased me further and further and away, I didn't have enough energy to teleport back and I was getting tired fast, I had to do something but I didn't want to hurt them either. 

I gasped when I tripped and fell on my back, the wind knocking out of me. I struggled to breath when Karl pounced on top of me and pinned me down to the ground. I growled and my eyes widened when vines shot towards him from behind and wrapped around his limbs and torso. 

He screamed as he was pulled back against the tree, I sat up and coughed, my head snapping to Sapnap's direction as he also screamed. I saw him getting entangled with vines and pulled down to the ground, the thick vines pinning him down. 

'Sorry guys, can't let you take him.' My eyes widened and a small smile perked up on my lips when I heard Ranboo's voice behind me. 

'Ranboo!' I said happily as I turned around and hugged him, he smiled down at me and hugged me back briefly before letting me go and turning back to the hounds with a serious face.

Karl was tied to the tree and Sapnap was pinned two the ground, both immobile and struggling against their binds.

'How did you know I was here?' I asked as the vines squeezed tighter around them and they groaned in pain. 

'I'm not the chief for nothing George, I know everything.' He smiled and winked at me, walking over to Karl's direction with me following behind him. 

'Are you okay?' Ran asked me and I nodded, I was fine because he was here, if he wasn't I don't know if I would've said the same.

'Let me go!' Karl screamed at Ranboo as he walked up to him, but Ran paid no attention to him, he raised his hand slightly and my eyes widened when Karl's eyes started glowing completely purple and he stopped struggling. 

I looked up and Ran and saw his eyes were purple too, Sapnap was yelling at us in the background and struggling on the ground.

'What are you doing to him! You freak!' I turned to see Sapnap glaring at us but Ran didn't seem to be swayed at all. 

I turned back to see Karl's head drooping down, falling unconscious. My eyes widened and Ran held up a hand to stop me when I started walking over to him.

'Don't worry, he's fine, just making him forget.' He said quietly and I nodded slightly, there was still so much I don't know about Ran, like he said, he's chief for a reason, and he didn't even bat an eye doing whatever he was doing just now. 

The vines around Karl loosened slowly and lowered him to the ground, he landed on the ground with a soft thud, still unconscious.

Ran started walking towards Sapnap and he struggled against the vines, making them tighten more and more, eventually making him gasp in pain and stop reluctantly.

'Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you.' Ran said and I stared at them worriedly as he crouched down beside Sapnap, doing the same with him too. I scrunched up my face as Ranboo stood up and the vines slid away from Sapnap and back into the ground. I wondered what they would think when they woke up in the forest not knowing why.

'George.' I jumped when I heard Ranboo say my name gently, he was in front of me already and he held out his hand for me to hold. 

'You okay?' He asked and I nodded, I was a bit shaken up but I'll be fine. 

'Come on, let's go back, you can come sit for a while, you know, drink some tea with me and Tubbo.' He smiled and I nodded, smiling weakly back at him. I took his hand and the air started to shift around us, teleporting us back in front of Ran's house.

Dream pov

'You are a maniac.' Tommy sighed and I laughed, we had chatted for a while and agreed that the bet starts the second we see George, and while we were at it, I decided to also make up some rules for the bet. 

'So first of all, you can't do anything to me other in order to stop me, no harming, killing, anything like that, and vice versa.' I said and Tommy whined, making me kind of glad I made that rule up because I had a sneaking suspicion Tommy would gladly stab me during my sleep. 

'Second of all... We can't tell George about the bet, if any of us do, we automatically lose the bet and take the punishment.' I smirked, of course I wasn't going to tell him, but George would help Tommy if he knew about the bet because he's literally his brother, and I'm sure Tommy loves him since he decided to lie to me. 

'I can't think of anything else right now but do you swear on the rules?' I said and he nodded after a bit of hesitation. 

'Fine, I will for now.' He said and I smirked, this was going to be so fun, seeing Tommy lose.

'Great, it's been a while, George should be back right?' Tommy said and I nodded, it has been a while, maybe Tommy should go find him, since I'm not allowed to go outside, still haven't forgotten about that. 

'Yeah, I should go find him.' He said and stood up, eager to get out of here. I smirked as he dashed out of the door, it falling close gently behind him. I sighed as I laid back on the bed, it had reminded me that we had sort of just glossed over the fact that we appeared here within a second. 

I guess it's natural for George to have powers since he's a black cat, but I'd have to ask him to be sure. 

Anyways, Sap and Karl should've seen the tracker pop up on their screens when I did go outside with George, not going to lie, I had kind of been using George as a way of contacting them but I did enjoy seeing him like that.

I sighed as I made myself more comfortable on the bed, slowly drifting to sleep, wondering what Sap and Karl are doing right now...

sry for no updates recently :0 school have started and im tired af but i had to upload even if i dont have time and energy, also i have writers block :0 

but anyways, more chapters coming this way slowly... :0
