George pov

I yawned as I shifted in bed, blinking awake. I let out a few purrs as I curled up even more because of the warmth that enveloped me under the blanket. 

I turned around, vision still blurry with sleep and saw Dream's slumbering face right in front of mines, making my eyes widen and blush from the memories of yesterday. 

I smiled and reached up to caress his cheek softly, placing a light peck on his lips before I sat up and groaned lightly. Everywhere hurt and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to walk for a while, so I floated out of bed and over to the bathroom to shower, sneaking a small glance at the mirror and regretting it instantly while blush spread on my face again. 

I was covered in hickeys and bite marks that I would have to spend time healing again, and my lips were swollen, my hair was a tangled mess as well. 

I sighed but smiled nonetheless because I realized that I loved Dream. It was different from the love I feel for Tommy, this was more intense and more warm, and I feel butterflies fluttering within me every time I see Dream. 

I turned on the shower and let out a long breath as the hot water ran through my body, easing my sore muscles a little. 

I knew it was wrong for me to keep Dream here and I had to let him go soon if I didn't want him to keep suffering. 

My mind wandered to think of something else and I thought back to yesterday morning when Karl and Sapnap found me. Something fishy was going on. I had a feeling that they didn't just come here for a stroll in the woods in hopes of finding Dream. They knew what they were doing, and they were prepared to do whatever it took to get him back. 

Thoughts troubled my mind as I finished showering and dried my hair, throwing on a hoodie over a turtleneck and a pair of jeans. I decided I would ask Dream about it after I gave him breakfast. 

He was still asleep when I came out and a soft smile placed itself on my lips, making me feel a little guilt for suspecting him to have something to do with Karl and Sap's appearance. 

I yawned and stretched on my platform as I floated off to meet Tommy at the pond. I had gotten good at wielding my powers lately and as I landed on the ground with a soft thud, Tommy was already sitting on the ground beside the pond, nibbling on a piece of fish. 

I walked over to him and frowned when he didn't even seem to notice me, and dogs are supposed to have good hearing. 

'Tommy?' No response. Yep. Something was definitely troubling him. I sighed and sat down beside him, making him yelp and jump slightly, looking at me with embarrassment when I raised a brow at him. 

'H-hi, George!' He laughed nervously and I facepalmed, chuckling at him as I grabbed a fish out of the water and taking a bite. 

'What's wrong Tommy? And don't lie to me because you're terrible at lying.' I sighed and propped myself on my hands as I leaned back to wait for his answer. 

'U-uh, well, um, for reasons... I... can't tell you.' He said guiltily and I rolled my eyes at him. 

'Yeah right. Why can't you?' I smirked at him and took another bite of the fish, not really hungry all of a sudden. 

'Uh, can't tell you that either.' He sighed and I let out a laugh, he was childish as always. 

'Fine. Don't tell me then.' I smiled as I shrugged and looked away from him deliberately.  

I smirked when I saw Tommy fidgeting out of the corner of my eye. I knew how to guilt trip him. 

'U-uhm... Ugh! Fuck it, I'm going to lose anyways. So basically what happened was you were gone, and I was chatting with Dream, and he found out that me and you are actually brothers, so he made a bet with me to see if he can get you to be their boyfriend by the end of the week because I didn't want to admit that you liked him. ' He said all in on breath and pause afterwards to look at me expectantly. 

I blinked a few times, processing the information before letting out a laugh, that was what was troubling him? 

'You two...' I laughed, shaking my head at him. They were just like children. So that was why Dream was so adamant about defining our relationship yesterday. 

'Y-you're not mad?' Tommy said hesitantly and I shook my head. 

'No, I actually find it quite amusing.' I smiled and patted Tommy's head, causing his drooped ears to perk up. 

'Really?' Tommy asked, his eyes full of hope. I nodded and he beamed widely at me, lunging into my arms with a yip. 

'Yayyy, you're not mad!' He smiled, his tail wagging happily behind him, making me laugh. 

I patted his head comfortingly as we sat there for a while, comforted by the presence of each other. 

'Come on. Let's go.' I smiled as I pulled Tommy up from the ground and flying us both back up to the platform holding Phil's house. 

We met up with Phil and I put Dream's breakfast onto the nightstand in my room as Dream was still sleeping and left to go meet up with Ran while Tommy went to go find Niki to train.
