chapter 7

i went  to universal studios today cuz its my bday :D im very happy rn

George pov

'The fuck just happened.' Techno deadpanned and I frowned, what did just happen? I leaned into Tommy for comfort and he wrapped his arms around me, sighing and pulling me into him more.

'Tommy... I can't believe your here...' I sniffed and he sighed happily. 

'I can't believe you're here either... I missed you so much...' He smiled and I closed my eyes, leaning into him and let my tears fall. 

'Are you okay? Did he hurt you?' I heard Phil say with concern and I shook my head, Dream had taken good care of me, and I don't understand why he did so if he really meant what he said. 

'I'm fine, he was nice to me.' I said quietly and looked around, getting comfortable in Tommy's arms. 

'We should go back before anyone notices something off.' Techno said while taking off his mask and I smiled at his familiar face, I didn't know who Phil was but he seemed nice and I trust him since he's with Tommy and Techno. 

'Yeah, we should.' Tommy said while letting go of me and standing up, grabbing a small pack from behind the couch. 

I stood up too and kind of just followed Tommy has he walked around grabbing things that were valuable.

'Tommy... Are you stealing again...' Phil sighed while snatching a few stuff out of Tommy's arms and setting them back where they once were. 

'Aww, but-' Tommy started and Phil cut him off. 

'No buts, we are not getting banned from this bar.' He sighed and I snickered, Phil was like a parent, and Tommy was as childish as he always was. 

'Come on, we should go.' Techno said and we nodded, I took ahold of Tommy's hand and followed him out of the door, sticking close to him as we weaved through the dancing crowd, the music was deafening and I gasped for air as soon as the fresh air hit us. 

I didn't know what to say, I was still a bit in shock, I can't believe Tommy was alive, after all these years...

'Come on, we have to go.' Tommy said while squeezing my hand softly, snapping me out of my thoughts. I nodded and followed them around the building, we walked for a while and walked for a while, reaching the edge of the city without any disturbance. 

I looked around and took in a deep breath when we reached the brink of a forest, taking in the piney scent, making me smile, it's been a long time. 

'Where are we going?' I asked quietly as me and Tommy followed behind Phil with Techno behind us.

'The river, we're traveling by boat.' Phil explained and I looked at him curiously, what place would need a boat to reach?

My eyes widened when we reached the river, the clear water glimmering in the night sky, a few glowing fishes swimming around, weaving through the lily pads and illuminating the water. 

I smiled in awe and crouched down beside the water, I never knew it looked so pretty in the night. 

'We need to go a little bit further.' Phil said and I nodded, standing up and taking ahold of Tommy's hand again, following shortly behind Phil, following along the river. 

'So... Where have you been all this time?' I said to Tommy as I saw a boat in the distance. 

'Well, it's a long story... I'll tell you when we get on the boat.' Tommy smiled and I nodded, nearly bumping into Phil when he stopped beside the boat, it was decorated with flowers and leaves. 

It was quite big, with a big dome on top of two places that are covered in blankets and pillows that I assumed was for sleep and another platform at the front with a small couch. 

'Woah...' I said in awe and Tommy smirked. 

'Yup! I built all that, all me, definitely had no help whatsoever.' Tommy smirked at me and I rolled my eyes at him with a smile, I missed his attitude.

'Definitely.' I laughed while Phil stepped into the boat and reached out a hand to make sure we don't fall. 

Tommy let me step through first and I took Phil's hand while stepping onto the boat with one foot, the other quickly following behind. 

I said thanks to Phil quietly and stepped aside for Tommy to enter. I smiled at him and walked over to one of the platforms with blankets and plopped down on it, sighing in happiness as Tommy plopped down next to me. 

'You guys can sleep if you want, it's going to be a while.' Techno said after he stepped on and I nodded, turning to look at Tommy. 

'So, are you going to tell me?' I said while holding onto him as the boat rocked back and forth since Phil had a long stick in the water, pushing us forward steadily. 

'Oh, okay, so... After you got... You know, captured, Techno found me and brought me to Phil, and he healed me enough so I wouldn't die.' He said and I nodded, laying back into one of the pillows and curling up. 

'Then I wanted to go find you but I couldn't and Phil said I should train to be more powerful so I could go save you if it comes down to it-' Tommy sighed and also leaned back on a pillow.

'-So we went to search for the Moon clan and we actually found them after about a year of searching.' He said and my eyes widened, the Moon clan? They actually found them? 

'Really?' I breathed and he nodded, smiling at me smugly. The Moon clan was said to be a group of mostly black cats who are said to wield magic.

'Yeah, the rumors are true, so now we're staying with them.' He smiled and I stared at him in awe. 

'Wow, I'm glad you're safe.' I smiled and leaned into him, making him smile. 

'I could say the same.' He smiled and draped an arm around me, pulling me into the warmth of his arms. 

'I missed your warmth.' I sighed while closing my eyes and snuggling closer to him, curling up in his arms. 

'Me too.' He smiled and pulled a light layer of blankets over us, making me purr quietly in satisfaction. 

I smiled as I drifted asleep, finally back in the warmth of his arms.
