George pov

I opened my eyes again and I was back in the same field, but there was now a whole village sitting on top of the grass, people looking similar to Osiris bustling around. 

Suddenly, a child looking about 13 ran past me, screaming and laughing. 

'That was me. And this whole village was once my village too.' I jumped when I heard Osiris' voice behind me. I whirled around and saw him floating a little bit off the ground, his skin was semi transparent and when I looked down at my hand, I was in the same state. 

'Where are we?' I asked, looking around. 

'My memories.' He said simply, grabbing my hand and leading me away from the village, and after the small Osiris that just ran off into the forest. 

'I was young back then, naïve, and I had ran off to the forest to play, when I met them.' He said, a slight growl on the word "them". 

I looked up as our surroundings suddenly shifted, and I saw Osiris Jr. in a patch of clear grass in the middle on the forest, a small stream running beside him. My eyes widened when I recognized the place.

'This is-' I started, but he cut me off, watching the scene intently. 

'Yeah. It is, It's where you were at.' He said, making me look back at the scene. My eyes widened when I saw something emerge from within the forest, his black and white hair distinct and recognizable. 

'Ranboo.' Osiris hissed, my eyes staring intently as Osiris Jr. whirled around and backed away, clearly frightened. 

'No no! I mean no harm. I'm just here to talk.' Ran smiled and held up both of his hands in surrender as Osiris Jr. seemed to calm down. 

I could tell Osiris Jr.'s guard was still up as he let Ran walk towards him slowly, his tail swishing slowly behind him.

'W-who are you?' I heard Osiris whimper, backing away from him again when he got too close. I heard Ran sigh and lower his arms. 

'Like I said, I was naïve, my mother told me to never trust people like you, but Ranboo was too friendly.' Osiris sighed, regret clear in his voice. I was still pondering what he meant by "people like you", when the scene shifted again. 

I saw Osiris Jr. in front of Ran, leading him back towards the village. Although Ran had a smile on his face this entire time, I had a bad feeling about this whole situation. 

'I lead him back to our village after he did some coaxing, but I didn't know that he had other intentions, I should've known...' He said, gritting his teeth as I watched the village appear, the only thing separating the village and Osiris Jr. is a few trees.

I stared intently as Osiris Jr. looked back at Ran and smiled proudly, Ran smiling back. Osiris turned around to keep walking but my eyes widened in horror when I saw Ranboo pull a collar out of his bag, it was made of either iron or metal, and it had a little box on the side of it. 

I wanted to reach out to save Osiris Jr. but I couldn't move, not even an inch. 

I watched as Ranboo's expression turned dark and jumped onto an unsuspecting Osiris Jr. and clipped the collar on him, ignoring his struggling and pressing his hand to his mouth before he could scream for help. 

'That collar prevented us from using our powers, and I had to watch-' Osiris said while the scene shifted again. 

'-as the other black cats raided our village and fought with them. It was a total bloodshed, we relied too much on our powers, there were only few in the village that actually knew how to fight.' He growled, the scene showing both clans fighting, and to my horror, in the end, the village had totally burned down and dead bodies littered the floor, the scene was a complete replica of what I had saw earlier when I first met Osiris. 

'All of the people that wasn't dead yet, or kept alive on purpose, was taken back to the village that you live in now...' Osiris said slowly, and the scene shifted again, my eyes widened as I saw Osiris and a few others chained up in a cell, curled up in a corner. 

'They experimented on us, hungry for our powers, and we couldn't even do anything, they were cautious and kept the collar on us at all times.' Osiris growled and the scene shifted back to where I first met him, the overwhelming stench of dead bodies making me want to gag again. 

'What happened next?' I asked, not really knowing if I should pry. 

'Well, Ranboo found a curse that can trap our souls inside somebody, as well as our powers. Then he found a way to target which person our powers belong to, so he did. We died from the curse, therefore trapping our souls inside the bodies of people like you, specifically the Moon clan.' He said, emotionless as I looked around sorrowfully.

'Ranboo did that...?' I said shakily, everything I knew about the Moon clan had just totally flipped around, I don't know what to trust anymore.

'Sadly, yes. And I know you probably won't believe it but... Everyone in the clan is not who you think they are.' He sighed.

'I-I mean, it's a lot to take in...' I said hesitantly, I didn't know whether to trust him or not, but Ranboo did seem to know about Osiris and his memories did seem to explain this whole thing. I was still skeptical but I wanted to trust him. 

'Ugh, whatever, this was a waste of time, just... Think what you want.' He scoffed, turning his eyes away from me. 

'W-wait, I didn't say I don't trust you...' I said, and I saw his eyes light up a little, he turned around and stared at me for a while, searching my eyes for any hint of lying. 

'Maybe you're not so bad after all...' He muttered something under his breath, too low for me to hear.

'What?' I said and he shook his head, looking around. 

'Listen, I don't have much time left with you but whatever you do, don't tell Ranboo that you met me. If he asks, just tell him you met some guy named Jason, and that you woke up before he could tell you anything.' He said and I nodded, I decided to trust him for now and discuss this with Tommy before doing anything. 

'See you soon.' Osiris said suddenly but before I could ask him what that was all about, my vision started to fade and I felt my body sinking to the ground. The last thing I saw before blacking out was Osiris staring at me softly with an expression I didn't quite understand.
