George pov

I groaned as I finally stepped onto solid ground, we were at the very bottom of the cave, where there was a small lake where a lot of felines were catching fish. We had walked down a very very long set of stairs and I dreaded going back up.

'Finally.' I sighed and Tommy wheezed for breath. My eyes widened when I saw the water near a feline contort into a small ball, containing two fish inside it.

'So the rumors are true.' I smiled and Tommy nodded, collapsing onto the ground beside the lake.

'Yeah, most of the black cat's here have magic, and they use it to get up and down or catch food.' He sighed and I sighed too, I wish I had magic so I wouldn't have to walk all the way back up again.

'Come on, I'll catch you a fish.' Tommy smiled and lunged himself into the river, making me gasp in surprise and laugh out loud when his head poked back up above the water, his hair all wet.

I laughed at him as he wiped the water out of his eyes and also laughed plunging back into the water to find a fish.

My eyes widened and I laughed again when his head emerged from the water with a fish in his mouth, his spiky teeth piercing into the fish. He swam back to me and handed me the fish, which I gladly took and started munching on it, yelling out as Tommy shook all the water he had onto me.

'Hey, what the hell!' I laughed and tried to shake the water back onto him but failing. He laughed and I grumbled, taking another bite into the fish. Tommy dove back into the water to catch a fish for himself as I ate almost half the fish.

He came out a few moments later with two fish in his mouth and he swam to shore, shaking the water away and sitting down beside me.

'Wait, it's raw, don't eat it.' I said concerningly when he started munching on the fish. I'm okay with it because I'm a cat but fish isn't supposed to be appealing to dogs.

'It's fine, I'm used to it by now.' He giggled and I smiled with concern, I guess he did use to take bites of my fish when we were young so he probably is fine.

We munched on our fish and he burped when he finished, making me laugh.

'You're disgusting.' I laughed and he shrugged, I heard some wailing and I sighed.

'Great, someone's here to ruin the mood.' I sighed and Tommy groaned, sighing and standing up to leave.

'Come on, let's go, we're going to go fight each other.' Tommy snickered and I raised my brows, making him snicker even more.

'Fight each other?' I laughed and he nodded, sighing when he heard another wail.

'It's them! The freak!' I scrunched up my face when I heard Kazz' voice again. I sighed and grabbed Tommy's hand, turning around to face her. She had tears in her eyes and her mascara was running down her face, she was so dramatic.

'What the fuck are you talking about.' I growled angrily, she was getting on my nerves. She smirked at me and turned to the crowd, who was mostly fed up with her and ignoring her.

'The freak is here, he stole Tommy away from me.' She sobbed dramatically and the other felines there either scoffed or rolled their eyes, I snickered when I heard someone mutter thank god under their breath.

'You think I'm a freak?' I smirked and I heard Tommy growl beside me, I sighed and crossed my arms, staring at Kazz.

'You stole Tommy form me, of course you're a freak, I've never seen you around before.' She said, her fake voice piercing through the air. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
