Dream pov

I sighed as I heard some shouting outside the door, I set the plate back down on the desk, honestly, I felt betrayed by George but I kind of deserved it for saying what I did.

I didn't mean to, I was too angry and it just slipped out, I wonder what Karl and Sap are during right now. 

I looked up when I heard the door click and saw George leaning against the door, looking down at the ground, I heard him sigh and slide down to the ground, making my eyes widen.

'George? What's wrong?' I asked while walking over to him and sitting down beside him.

'Dream...' He sighed and leaned into my arms, making me wrap my arms around him and pulled him in more. 

My eyes widened when I heard a small sniff from him, was he crying? I took him in my arms and carried him over to the couch and sat down, setting him in my lap gently and let him cry.

I stroked his back slowly as his tail swayed side to side softly, not making a sound.

'I-I'm sorry.' I heard him say and pull back from me, rubbing his eyes, it seems like he and Tommy had a fight, which some part of me was happy about since Tommy was such a jerk and gets in the way every time. 

'It's fine George... Tell me what's wrong.' I said gently but he sighed, averting his eyes from me when I tried to meet his.

'I-it's nothing I'm sorry... Come on, let's go.' He sighed and climbed off of me, taking my hand and leading me over to the door.

'Where are we going? I thought I wasn't supposed to go outside?' I said while George looked out the peephole, sighing and unlocking the door.

'Aboveground.' He said and pushed open the door, I took a step forward but he stopped me, sticking his head out and looking around before stepping outside. 

'Come on. Be quick.' He sniffed, taking my hand and leading me out, my eyes widening when I saw where the house was.

It was a huge cave decorated with endless platforms and drawbridges, a few vines and leaves hanging down from the sides of the walls. i saw a few black cats buzzing around the platforms and I raised my brow.

'C'mon! Quickly.' He said quickly, dragging me away before I could take in more. He led me across multiple sets of stairs and drawbridges before entering a huge tree that had a room inside. 

'Dream... I-never mind, come on.' He said before leading me up a set of very long stairs, by the end, we were both panting heavily. 

'I'm sorry Dream...' George said quietly once we reached the set of doors at the top of the stairs.

'What for?' I asked as he pushed open the doors, revealing the forest. He was really trusting me with this much information and access, doesn't he think I'll escape?

'I... I... I don't know.' He said after a long pause and I smiled softly, pulling him into my arms for a hug. 

'It's okay George...' I said gently and patted his head gently, making his tail swish side to side.

'Come on, let's go, I want to show you something.' He said with a hint of smile on his face as he led me through the forest. 

We walked for a while and my eyes widened when we walked out of the trees and in front of us was a large patch of firelunas, I smiled as the sweet scent wafted into my nose.

'I found this one time when I was strolling through the woods at night.' He smiled and I raised my brow at him.

'They must be very pretty at night.' I smiled while sitting down at the edge of the flowers, the firelunas don't get their name for nothing, they glow a bright fiery red at night whenever the moon's out, therefore earning the name Fireluna.

'Yeah, I used to lie around them all night and stare at the stars.' He smiled and sat down beside me, leaning into me, making me blush slightly. 

I can't deny my feelings for George, he was too cute for me to lose, and when I saw him at the pet store, I wanted him all to myself...

I wonder if he liked me back, he probably doesn't even like me that much because of all the things I did, yet he still treats me nicely. 

'Dream...' I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard George call my name. 

'Yeah?' I asked, looking down at him and pulling him into me more.

'Be honest with me Dream, did you mean what you said when I was with Tommy.' He asked, averting my eyes, of course I didn't mean it, I was so angry and betrayed I wanted to get back to him but as soon as I saw the hurt look on his face, I knew I had gone too far.

'Of course not George... I would never mean to say anything like that.' I sighed and nuzzled my face into his hair, taking a deep breath. 

George pov

I blushed slightly as I felt him nuzzle into my hair, I let out a small purr and I heard his tail wagging. 

Of course I didn't believe Dream meant what he said, but even if he did mean it, I can't blame him, it was probably the way he was raised in. Plus I am already forever grateful that he saved me from the shop, no matter what Tommy says, I'm forever in Dream's debt.

I looked up and stared into Dream's emerald green eyes, blushing slightly from how close our faces were.

I sighed quietly and looked away, pulling away from his arms reluctantly. I smiled weakly at Dream and pulled him up too, he smiled back and followed me into the flower field, he sat down on a patch of grass void of firelunas beside the small pond, opening his arms for me. 

I purred and sat down into his lap, facing him and straddling him with my legs. We stared into each others eyes and I smiled softly, leaning into the crook of his neck. I let out a small sigh as mines and Dream's tail wagged slowly. 

I purred quietly and swished my tail lightly over Dream's which made him happy as his tail started wagging harder. 

'George...?' I looked up when I heard Dream say my name. I blushed slightly when I felt his arms wrap around my waist, pulling me into him so that our faces were inches away.

'Yeah?' I breathed, I could feel his hot breath fanning on my face, he was so close to me... I wanted to kiss him so bad... 

'I love you...' He said and my eyes widened when he pressed his lips to mine.
