i changed this chapter so many times and i thought i would spare u guys the details of george's past trauma and just give u guys some wholesome time.

George pov

I purred as I woke up, turning around in my bed and yawning, stretching and sitting up, realizing it was only a little bit past midnight. I sighed and decided I should just go curl up in the comforts of Tommy's arms and cuddle with him for a while, I'm sure he won't mind me waking him up. 

I sighed as I slid off my bed, stretching my body fully and yawning again, walking out the door and to the room next to mine, opening the door quietly and sighed when I realized the light was on and Tommy was sitting on his bed, his blanket draped on his head and his Nintendo in hand. 

His head snapped to me and breathed a sigh of relief when he realized it was me. I closed the door behind me quietly and crossed my arms, raising my brow at him. 

'It's past midnight.' I said quietly and he looked around nervously biting his lip and setting the Nintendo down.

'W-well I woke up and I-I um, couldn't sleep?' He lied obviously and I sighed, walking over to him and plopping down on his bed, pulling the covers down from his head and staring at him skeptically.

'You haven't slept at all have you.' I sighed and he groaned, facepalming and looking at me with puppy eyes. 

'I wanted to play for a bit more and I lost track of time-' He rambled but I cut him off by climbing into his arms and getting comfortable while he patted my head softly.

'It's fine, do you want to cuddle? I can't sleep.' I sighed and he nodded, leaning back against the bedpost and pulling me in more, sighing and resting his head on mine.

'I missed this.' He smiled softly and I chuckled. 

'It's been one day Tommy.' I chuckled and he rolled his eyes playfully. 

'Yeah but I still missed you.' He said while chuckling and I smiled, purring quietly while swishing my tail side to side.

'Honestly I missed this too.' I smiled and snuggled closer to him. 

'We're like a couple but not.' He said and I chuckled, now that he said it, we kind of are except we kind of grew up together so we're more like brothers. 

'True, we could be but that'd be frowned upon.' I chuckled and he sighed, nibbling on the tip of my ear softly, making me purr in satisfaction. 

'Nobody would know.' He said quietly and I smiled sadly, in a world like this, we could never be together. 

'I would kiss you if you wanted but you know we'd never be together.' I smiled and he sighed, letting go of my ear and kissing the top of my head softly. 

'We should sleep, it's late.' I sighed and he hummed in agreement, letting go of me and laying down. I lied down beside him and snuggled into the warmth of his arms. 

'Goodnight George.' Tommy said softly and I purred, leaning into him. 

'Goodnight Tommy.' I smiled quietly and slowly drifted off to sleep in the comforts of his arms. 

I miss you so much...

I yawned as I woke up, it was dark and I was surrounded by warmth, much like the warmth of Tommy, for a moment, I thought I was back in his arms, but no, I was with Dream.
