Date Night

"Okay that's practice over for today, we'll come back tomorrow and go over the parts we've missed." Our choreography says as we relax and get a drink. I lay down on the floor in a starfish as I pant slightly, out of breath. Jeonghan lays next to me in the same position as the other members gather their stuff and begin to decide who will clean.

"Rock paper scissors?" Seungcheol suggests and everyone agrees. Jeonghan and I get up and go over to where everyone has huddled together for Rock Paper Scissors.
Joshua and I are the first ones safe and we celebrate together briefly as they continue the game. I immediately grab all of my stuff and get ready to go with whoever was not cleaning.
It ended with Minghao and Vernon being the cleaners of the night, and the rest of us head back to the dorms.

As I'm about to leave with Seungkwan and Seokmin, Mingyu puts his arm around my shoulder as we walk.
"We haven't had a date night in a while." He says looking down at me.
"Please go out for date night this time, I hate seeing you guys all lovey dovey around the dorm." Seungkwan says and we laugh at his reaction.

"Of course we're going to go out, we can go to the restaurant near the dorm?" I suggest as he shakes his head.
"For the first date night in ages, we're going to do something better, but it's surprise." He smiles and i roll my eyes.
"Ooo bad move, you know Mila hates surprises." Seokmin says as he shakes his head at Mingyu.

"But it's going to be good I promise!" He says but I still roll my eyes.
"Fine, but we better be quick getting ready, I don't like suspense." I say as we arrive at the cars that will take us back to the dorms.
"Well we can always shower together to save time." He jokes.
"Ew seriously? We're all stood right here." Dino says from behind us as I laugh in embarrassment.

"Obviously he's joking don't worry." I say as we begin to head back to the dorms in the cars.
When we arrive back, I quickly jump in the shower (alone) and get ready for date night. Due to lots of promotions and various practices, we hadn't had much of a date night for a couple of months.

I head out to the living room area after getting ready to see that Minghao and Vernon had now arrived home and were sat on the sofa waiting for everyone else to finish showering.
"You look nice, where are you going?" Vernon asks as he looks up from his phone.
"Mingyu said he's taking me for date night, but don't ask where, it's a 'surprise'" i roll my eyes.
"Ooo bad move." Minghao says and i nod my head in agreement.

"Okay, are you ready my love?" Mingyu says as he struts into the living room and places his hand out in front of me to help me up.
"Why are you suddenly being all chivalrous?" I ask with a laugh as I take his hand as he helps me up, and leading my hand to grab his bent arm (a/n does that make sense?).
"Your carriage awaits princess." He says and i laugh.
"I can't tell if this is cute or cringe." Minghao says and Vernon agrees.

We finally leave the dorm and begin to walk to our destination, which wasn't too far from the dorms. We arrived at a lake side restaurant, which looked fancier than I expected. We quickly head inside, where Mingyu said he had a reservation, and we were lead to our seats next to the window, which perfectly looked out at the beautiful lake.

It was currently 10pm, so it was a little late for a huge meal, but we had something light and a few drinks, before we went for a walk around the lake.
We walked and talked for about 2 hours and took tons of photos, which we would later post for carats to see, before we decided to finally go back to the dorms.
"We need to do a lot more date nights, this has been really fun." I whisper as we arrive back to the front door, where I quietly unlock in, trying not to wake the other members.
"Can I stay in your room tonight? We can't end date night without cuddling." Mingyu begs with puppy eyes, which I simply cannot say no to.

We quickly go to my room, which I have to myself, and change into our pjs before getting into bed. I immediately become a human pillow as Mingyu cuddles into me.
"I love you so much, you know that right?" He says before looking up at me.
"Of course I do, I love you too." I say before kissing his forehead.

"I hate when you do that, just kiss me properly." He says before sitting up slightly and quickly dipping down and kisses me passionately.

Oh how I missed date night.
