"Hello Carats! It's 3 minutes until my birthday!" I say as I sit on the floor of the practice room with my phone propped up in front of me.
"Have I eaten today? Yes I went for food with some of my members after practice. But I'm here again to practice some more." I say as I watch the clock closely come to midnight.
"I know it's late, but I wanted to celebrate the start of my birthday with you Carat." I say as the clock strikes midnight.
"Yay! Happy birthday to me!" I smile as I see the Livestream chat start spamming with happy birthday messages.
"The members haven't wished me a happy birthday yet because I'm here alone, but that's okay, because I'm pretty sure they're all still awake at the dorms." I say as I adjust the baseball hat on my head as I read more of the fast paced chat.

I then hear a soft knock on the practice room door, which confuses me slightly.
"Yes? Come in! I'm on VLive." I shout as I cover the camera slightly, assuming that a staff member was about to walk in.
I look over to the door as it opens slightly, seeing a hand creep in and turn the lights off, then the door swings open again, to reveal the members, with a birthday cake, with the candles lit as they begin to sing happy birthday.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Mila, happy birthday to you." They sing, slightly out of tune, as they make their way towards where I'm sat.

"I thought you all were at the dorms?" I question as Mingyu and Joshua sit either side of me as Seungcheol was carrying the cake, and kneels down next to us for me to blow the candles out. I quickly blow them out as everyone claps, and the lights turn back on, courtesy of Vernon.
"Obviously we weren't going to leave you alone on your birthday." Mingyu says, as I completely forget that I was still live.
"Everyone say hello to Carat." I say as I point to the phone, and everyone waves in turn.
"Our Mila's getting older now." Jeonghan says as he pats my head slightly.

We all talk with the Carats for a while, before we all decide to go back to the dorms to sleep ready for tomorrow's packed schedule.
"Thank you for spending the start of my birthday with me, I'll be sure to post online later with how my birthday went." I smile at the camera at the chat fills with loving messages.
"Stay safe, make sure to eat and stay hydrated, look after yourselves, and I hope to see you all soon! Bye!" I wave enthusiastically to the camera along with everyone else, as I end the livestream.

As soon as the livestream has ended, I'm immediately engulfed in a hug by Mingyu.
"Happy birthday." He says before kissing me quickly, as he is quickly pushed away by the other members who all end up piling on me trying to all hug me at once.
"You're all heavy together!" I groan slightly as no one bothers to get off.

Eventually we all head towards the dorms after everyone gets off me, and we all plan what we were going to do tomorrow night for my birthday.
"After we finish practice we can maybe go for a meal? Then maybe some karaoke?" Seungcheol suggests as I nod my head eagerly, him knowing that I have an avid love for karaoke rooms.
"Good, well the manager said we can have the whole afternoon off after 2pm, so we can get ready and head out after?" He says and everyone agrees with the plans as I thank them all.

We arrive at our dorms and we all instantly head off to bed, Mingyu following me to my room as usual, but he quickly goes to his first as comes back.
"I was going to give you your gift tomorrow, but since we'll be so busy I'll give it now." He says as he walks in with something behind his back.
"I've gotten you so many birthday presents over the years and I didn't know what to get that could top them, but I hope you like it." He says as he hands me a small gift bag.
"What is it?" I ask with a smile as I take the bag from him.
"Open it and you'll find out." He replies and I unravel the small ribbon on top of the bag and look inside, to see a small square shaped box. I take it out as he takes the gift bag from me, to allow me to open the box with free hands.
I gasp quietly as I open the box, to reveal an expensive looking and beautiful necklace.
"It's so pretty."

"Do you like it?" He asks as he looks down to me, as he rests his hands on my waist.
"Of course I do, it's stunning, thank you so much." I reply as I smile up at him. He then takes the necklace out of the box and turns me around gently as he places the jewellery around my neck.
"I love it." I say again as I turn back to face him.
"Well I love you." He replies with a grin, and I gently slap his shoulder.
"Stop being cheesy, but I love you too." I reply, as he leans down and kisses me gently.

"Now let's wash up and go to bed, we've got a big day of practicing and celebrating when we wake up." He says, and the 2 of us change and jump into bed, sleep quickly taking over us as we prepare for a long next day.
