Song With The Vamps

"Mila, can I speak to you in my office?" Our manager walks into the practice room as we're rehearsing for our next comeback.
"Ooooo Mila's in trouble." Seungkwan jokes and I shove him jokingly as he stands next to me.
"Everything's fine, I assure you." He laughs, and I follow him out of the door and towards his office, where another man sits in a chair.
"Please, take a seat." He points towards the empty chair, and I hesitantly take a seat.

"Mila, this is Joe O'Neill, he is the manager of an English group called The Vamps, are you familiar with them?" He asks.
"Oh, of course! Me and my sister listen to them all the time, its good to meet you." I shake his hand politely.
"So we've called you here today as The Vamps are currently on tour here, and are in the process of recording their new album. One song in which, has a feature, and have decided to ask if you would like to feature on this song." He smiles as my eyes widen.
"Really?" I ask in disbelief.
"Of course we'll allow you to listen to the song demo before you decide, but we just wanted to give you heads up." Joe says.

They then show me the demo for the song, and I instantly fall in love with it. Joe then says they already have a concept for the music video, and it'll be quite simple, but tell a story at the same time.
"Great! So we'll get you to meet up with the band tomorrow afternoon as both of your schedules are free, and we can discuss further. Thank you both!" Joe says politely, shakes both of our hands a leaves the room.
"Thank you Mila, you may continue with your practice now." Our manager smiles politely, and I walk out of the room and back to where the rest of the group were.

The next day I was meeting up with the band at one of our company studios in order to record the vocals for the song. I walk into the studio to see the band and their manager already sitting there.
"Oh hi, sorry for keeping you waiting." I smile politely.
"Oh no don't worry, we only just got here." One of the boys smile, a thick English accent clearly shown in his voice.
"I'm Mila." I hold my hand out to the boys closest to me, before shaking all of their hands as they introduce themselves.

"Great, let's get started!"

"Sounds great guys! Mila, I'll check in with your manager later to discuss filming for the music video. Have a great rest of your day!" Their manager says before leaving the room in a slight rush due to meetings.
"It was nice meeting you, maybe if you're free we could all go get dinner? Maybe you could show us around Seoul for a bit?" Brad asks and I nod my head.
"Definitely! I'll just need to stop by my groups practice room to let them know." I smile and we all grab our stuff before leaving the studio. I open the door to the practice room to reveal the hip hop unit rehearsing the dance to one of their unit songs for the next concert.
"I'm heading out to get food with my new friends, I'll be back later." I say and Seungcheol nods his head before getting back to learning the dance on his own.
"Did you have a good day?" Mingyu asks as he walks towards the door where I'm stood.
"Yeah it was really good, we finished recording the song and we're just planning the date for the music video." I reply, and I see Mingyu look past we out of the door, to where The Vamps were stood.

"Oh I almost forgot! Everyone this is Brad, Connor, James and Tristan, guys this is SCoups, Wonwoo, Vernon and my boyfriend Mingyu." I say as I switch quickly between languages to cater for everyone.
"Nice to meet you guys." Vernon smiles from where he is stood, and the other 3 just smile back with a wave.
"Well we better get going, I'll be back later."
"Have fun." Mingyu kisses the top of my head before getting back to practice.

I showed them all around my favourite places in Seoul, before stopping at a restaurant to finally eat. They told me what type of food they liked so I recommended similar types of food and helped them to order.
"Oh our manager just messaged us, he said we should be good to film the music video in 2 days. Does that suit you?" Connor asks as we all begin to dig into our food.
"Yeah that should be good, my schedule's quite calm for the next couple of weeks." I smile.
"Good, I'm sure our manager will contact yours for the details. I'm really excited for this music video, when our manager told us the concept, it sounded really cool." Brad says and I nod in agreement.
"Totally! It's very different to other music videos that I've done, It's gonna be fun!"

We were currently stood on set for the music video, as Brad and I brainstormed ideas for a small dance break in the song.
"Maybe if I walk up the stage singing my part and you walk towards me, and as the chorus kicks in, we do like a ballroom dance?" I suggest as we were currently on a break from filming.
"Yeah definitely, do you have any dance in mind?" My manager asks, and I nod my head slightly.
"Yeah, I'm sure I can come up with something." I say as I turn to Brad to teach some parts I had already come up with, and to see if he thought it would work.
"And then maybe at the end, you dip me and then that ends the dream sequence." I suggest as I teach Brad how to properly dip me so that he didn't drop me, which he quickly picked up. "Looking good guys, practice for a little while longer and then we'll get filming." The director says and we nod our heads before going back to practicing.

"That's a wrap guys, thank you all, this is gonna turn out great." The director says and we all celebrate the end of filming.
"It was great meeting you Mila, hopefully we can work together again someday, maybe with your whole group too." James smiles and I nod my head.
"Definitely, it's been really fun hanging out with you guys." I reply.
"Maybe we could get your number? If you want, that is. To keep in touch?" Tristan suggests and I gladly give them my number, before I'm quickly added to a new group chat, to which I laugh at the notification.
"Well, now you're stuck talking to us I guess." Connor laughs.

"I better get going, have a safe journey back to England, hopefully we'll see you again soon." I laugh as I check the time of my phone, releasing I needed to be back for practice in 30 minutes.
"Yeah that's fine, good luck with your new comeback, we'll definitely be supporting you guys." Brad says, making me smile.
"See you." I laugh, before hugging them all, and leaving with my manager.

It was nice getting close with new friends.
