These are three more Zen reminders I wrote for my own practice.
🌱4
I take great joy in the merits of others. I smile knowing that even where I fail, so many common people, so many realizers, and so many sages and saints succeed awesomely. Even their small successes fill me with warmth, for I know the steepness of even these challenges. My whole family is on the road with me, and I delight in their company.
🌱5
I will not lie. I will not steal. I will not hurt others. I will be generous and accepting. I will be kind, and I will be of assistance. I will foster togetherness with other sentient beings. I will not guard my pride as though it is the source of Happiness; rather I will allow it to deflate because it is a great source of my suffering. I am excited for my opportunity.
🌱6
I will foster a profound love for everyone and everything. I will not bestow this love, or it is not True Love. This is because I am everything and everything is me, so when I Truly Love, it is for all and each and in harmony. Real love is warm and gentle, whole and unqualified, like a buddha's.
