This is yet another Zen reminder I wrote for my own practice.

My negative feelings are not to be pursued or run down, for they are not my enemy as nothing is my enemy. My negative feelings are to be spotted, acknowledged, said hello to, spoken to, understood, consoled tenderly, looked after, and then allowed to sleep. They are not to be cleansed, not to be purified, for there are no dharmas clean or unclean, all dharmas being Truly signless. My negative feelings are not to be crushed, not to be destroyed. They cannot be destroyed because there is not a thing to destroy, and not a thing can be destroyed. Any want of mine to destroy is spotted, acknowledged, said hello to, spoken to, understood, consoled tenderly, looked after, and then allowed to sleep.
