"Thanks for taking me home Adam," Bailey said after she and Adam had left the hospital.

"No problem. I felt bad for not visiting much. This way I can make up for it." Adam replied.

"Don't worry about it, Adam. The DVDs and the player were a lifesaver. Thanks for the Doctor Who series. Mac asked so many questions Danny was telling him to shut up every other minute." Bailey laughed.

"That had to be entertaining. Since it looks like you are going to be home for a little bit on any free weekend Five-0 has I'll come over for a marathon and help you referee those two." Adam offered with a smile.

"Sounds amazing. I'll make sure to have take-out or pizza and beer ready." Bailey promised.

"Great. Bailey, there is something I wanted to ask you." Adam said turning serious.

"Sure what's up?" Bailey asked.

"Do you remember that Kono and I....." Adam trailed off with a sigh.

"Are divorced. Yes, I know. I don't remember the details of the split or any specific memories attached to it, but I remember it as a fact." Bailey told him.

"I was just worried that..." Adam trailed off again.

"That I would be expecting to see Kono and you'd have to tell me all over again that you two were no longer together. Nothing to worry about Adam I'm not going to ask you to relive painful memories just because mine is Swiss Cheese at the moment." Bailey reassured him.

"Thanks," Adam replied with a sad smile as they pulled up to McGarrett's house.

Bailey unbuckled her seatbelt and took a moment to look at the house. The front yard had a white picket fence with a rose arch and gate confining it. The house itself was a large two-story a little wider than some but nothing out of the ordinary. It felt weird to Bailey that this was her home now instead of the house she owned But since Mac and she were married it would make sense that they lived here and that this was her home now. While she had been thinking Adam had turned off the car, unbuckled his seatbelt, gotten out of the car, and walked around to the passenger's side of the car.

He opened the passenger's side door for Bailey and asked, "Ready?"

"Yeah," Bailey replied getting out of the car.

Bailey took Adam's arm and slowly walked to the front door. She was still a little unsteady on her feet and her doctor wanted her to have help whenever possible.

Steve opened the door as they got to the front porch and said, "Welcome Home Vi."

Bailey let go of Adam and walked to her husband with a bright smile. Steve took his wife in his arms and hugged her. Bailey melted into the hug knowing Steve had been worried about physical affection since her memories of their lives together were nonexistent at the moment. Steve smiled, released his wife, and guided her into the house.

"There she is! How you feeling sista?" Kamakona greeted Bailey.

"Surprised. Looks like you guys got a party going here." Bailey replied with a smile.

"All for you, babe. We wanted you to have a memorable homecoming." Danny said walking up to Bailey and giving her a hug.

"Daniel!" Rachael exclaimed from behind him.

Bailey laughed and then said, " It's fine Rachael and I'd say you've succeeded Detective."

Steve frowned. Vi was calling Danny Detective again. The only time she did that after she had been with Five-0 a year was when they were in the field. It was just another reminder that the woman he loved was buried in the woman she had been when they had met.

"Bailey, welcome home. How are you feeling? Can I get you anything?" Stan asked joining them.

"Stan! I've been better but I'm out of the hospital so I can't complain. Whatever ya'll put together for drinks would be great." Bailey replied with a smile.

"You got it. Be right back, glad your okay." Stan said and walked off.

"You had to bring him?" Danny asked his ex-wife annoyed.

"Danny don't start. Stan and I were friends before the accident. He would have also been at the wedding, right Mac?" Bailey asked her husband.

"He was. He also paid for your wedding dress over you protesting. And did not protest when Rachael walked down the aisle with Danny as your Maid of Honor." Steve confirmed.

Bailey giggled and shook her head she knew that Steve was tacking on the extra information to rib Danny.

"Thanks for the reminder, big guy," Danny said sarcastically.

"Anytime Danno," Steve responded with a grin.

"Alright you two, I know you're eager to have Bailey's memory return but is the endless taunting to kick start it really necessary?" Rachael admonished gently.

"Yes. They wouldn't be best friends if they didn't do this constantly." Bailey laughed.

"Auntie!!!" a little voice shrieked.

A little boy of about five years old barreled towards Bailey at full speed. He slipped through Danny's fingers and threw himself full force at Bailey's legs and hugged her legs. Bailey stumbled back into the waiting arms of her husband.

"Hello, Charlie! Wow, you are really strong. If you give me a chance to sit down I can give you a proper hug." Bailey offered the little boy.

"Yes!" Charlie replied.

"Getting a little tired Vi?" Steve asked softly.

"A little. Walk me to the couch?" Bailey returned just as softly.

Steve helped his wife to the couch. Bailey sat down and parked her butt there for the rest of the party. Charlie sat in her lap and got his hug. He stayed there for ten more minutes ( a lifetime for a five-year-old) and then ran off to play with Eddie. As the party continued all of the guests took time out to sit and talk with Bailey. Steve checked on his wife frequently to make sure she was alright and if she need anything. Mostly she was fine but during one of the few times, he caught her without one of their guests she asked him to get the memory book that Rachael had given her in the hospital. Steve quickly went upstairs to their shared bedroom, retrieved it, came back downstairs, and handed it to her.

"Thanks, hon," Bailey said automatically.

"Your welcome love," Steve replied.

"Stop hovering and go get something to eat. You've been trying so hard to take care of me and make sure I'm okay that you are not taking care of yourself." Bailey told Steve.

"I'm good Vi," Steve said waving off Bailey's concern.

"Danny! Come get your best friend and make him eat!" Bailey called across the room to Danny.

"On my way, babe!" Danny called back.

Danny made his way over to the McGarretts, grabbed Steve, and dragged him off towards the food bickering with him the whole way.

Bailey shook her head and smiled. She then grabbed a pen off the table, leaned back, opened her memory book, and began to write.
