Steve McGarrett woke up, let go of his sleeping wife, and looked at the clock. 3:00 AM, it glared at him. Why the hell was he awake at three in the morning? Steve swallowed a couple of times and decided to get himself a drink. So he got out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen he opened the fridge, grabbed a bottle of water, close the fridge door, opened said bottle, and took a long drink. He decided to take the bottle with him back upstairs. While passing through the living room he noticed Vi's memory book on the coffee table. On it was another yellow sticky note. He walked over to it and read the note: The only thing I ever want to be high on ever again is you. Steve felt his heart fill at the words, then sat down on the couch, opened the book to the next memory, and read.

Pakalolo- 1st Five-0 Field Trip.

"Alright everyone listen up!" I hear you yell out to the rest of us at the Five-0 command center.

"What's up, boss?" Kono asks.

She, Danny, Chin-Ho, and I join you over by the computers. We are all waiting for what you have to say.

"You all remember that human trafficking ring we stumbled upon?" You ask us.

What you really mean is that I stumbled upon it while doing research on a suspect to help out Detective Williams. I had only been Five-0's assistant for three weeks. Remember Mac? At the time we just thought the suspect was some run-of-the-mill criminal. Turned out not so much and the FBI flagged my search. That was a fun day.

"How can we forget? We had feds coming outta our ears for like two weeks. They interviewed Bailey like three different times." The Detective responds.

What you and the rest of the Five-0 team don't know is that the FBI Agents offered me a job and recruited me to continue working with them on this particular case.

"I remember that. I thought we were going to have to hire Bailey a lawyer in case the feds tried to claim she was working with the traffickers." Chin-Ho comments.

"But that was like five or six months ago," Kono interjects confused.

"Thank you, for the concern Sargent Kelly, but that's not what they were interviewing me for multiple times," I speak up.

"What were they after?" Captain Grover.

"They asked me to continue helping them take down the trafficking ring quietly and that they would inform the Commander when they needed Five-0's assistance again. Since Commander McGarrett is bringing it up I'm assuming that they did just that a few minutes ago." I reply awkwardly.

"You're right, Bails. That's exactly why they called me and they said they would be here in the next hour to brief me and the rest of the team." You say, sounding annoyed.

You have every right to be of course. You hired me to work as Five-0's assistant and for my background as a paralegal. Not as someone willing to spy on the team for the FBI. This is in no way what I was doing, but I am completely understanding that it could look like that from your and the team's point of view. To be perfectly honest I am very worried at this moment that you are going to fire me.

"Can I see you in my office please?" you ask, but we both know it's really a polite command.

"Of course," I reply and follow you to your office.
