Suresh lets out a relieved sigh. Alfie's face falls. Kat rushes into Finn's arms, squealing with excitement. At the end of the bench, Eddie rolls his eyes.
Dana leans in and whispers to you.
"I thought he'd pick you," she says.
You place your index finger to your lips, willing her to shhhh, and say nothing.
"Sorry, Alfie, mate," says Finn. "But I had to follow my heart this time."
"I saw it coming from a mile away," says Alfie, straightening up again. "All's fair on Love Island, ain't it?"
Finn gives you a cheeky look.
"It was a close call," he says. "Believe me."
You ignore Finn, instead looking directly at Alfie. The others console him, and he offers them a smile. He catches your eye, then looks away quickly.
Alfie's phone pings. The others look at him.

"Now I feel even more guilty," Finn sighs.
"No you don't," snorts Suresh.
"Of course I do!" Finn gasps. "Alfie's my boy."
"Yeah," Eddie rolls his eyes. "If this doesn't ruin that."
With happy sighs of relief, the others clap Alfie, cheering for his secure spot, at least for a few nights.
