Finally alone, you make your way to the kitchen to brew yourself a cup of afternoon coffee. You feel antsy with the glow of winning. Coupled with celebrating the potential newcomers, you can't help but buzz as you hum and bustle around.
You take your mug, hug it close, and carefully amble upstairs, through the bedroom, and out to the roof terrace. You exhale and inhale, breathing in the soft smell of the lilac flowers. Plump, small brown birds hop up and down and then scurry into the air when you shuffle toward them.
You look out, across the Villa, and sigh to yourself. The afternoon sun is bright but beginning to grow hazy. You can see Finn and Kat, heads pressed together in what seems to be an intense conversation, off by the gym. To your interest, Dana and Eddie are speaking to one another by the pool. Off in the distance, you see Alfie and Suresh sitting together, laughing and eavesdropping. It's painfully obvious.
You think about the kind of new Islanders that could shake the island up, and you mull over decisions in your head. While Finn and Kat seem compatible, Finn's a flirt, and Kat's keen while it's shiny and new; will it last? Dana and Eddie are imploding, burning out like a dying star, but do you want to be the rebound? And Alfie and Suresh – bless their hearts – might be blossoming into great friends, but what about starting over?
No better time to start over than with new Islanders, you think.
You tread back into the bedroom and shuffle into the dressing room on your own.

Glammed and blinking behind long, dark eyelashes (that are fake, obviously – it's a party, duh). Your dark hair hangs past your shoulders and you've lined your lips with an Audrey Hepburn pink.
Confidently, you sip wine from a plastic cup and blink up at the camera pointed directly into your face. You can see the slightest, smallest reflection staring back at you until your eyes adjust.
"How are you feeling about your time in the Villa, MC?" the Producer asks.
You laugh.
"I mean, I'm waiting for the love on Love Island," you say. "I'm getting a little bored."
